There is a time when there is not much to show or say, but there is always some news. In this case we will talk about the riders that evolved from the previous season to this
Firstly Joni Brandão who after 5 seasons in the team has finally completed his evolution process. With this evolution Brandão has become an excellent domestic, will be able to support our leaders in hill racing and maybe try his luck in some race.
Joni Brandão 4.100XP
2018- | 68 | 71 | 74 | 59 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 53 | 53 | 67 | 76 | 74 | 59 | 72.15 | 2019- | 68 | 73 | 76 | 59 | 69 | 71 | 71 | 53 | 53 | 69 | 78 | 74 | 59 | 73.83 |
Guerreiro one of the last additions to the team last year, which has the potential to become one of the best Portuguese riders in the future. With the upgrade this season it already has stats to become a useful element. The goal is to continue his evolution but for this he will have to find a team of PT available to receive him for a season.
Ruben Guerreiro 4.13XP
2018- | 70 | 72 | 73 | 60 | 71 | 70 | 74 | 63 | 72 | 69 | 58 | 67 | 60 | 72.39 | 2019- | 71 | 74 | 75 | 62 | 73 | 72 | 76 | 63 | 72 | 70 | 59 | 67 | 62 | 74.05 | 4.100xp- | 71 | 76 | 76 | 64 | 74 | 73 | 78 | 63 | 72 | 70 | 59 | 67 | 64 | ??.?? |
Jose Fernandes the youngest rider on the team is also one of the most hoping for me to become a good rider. Everything points to becoming a man for the TT capable of passing the mountains without wasting any time
Jose Fernandes 3.59XP
2018- | 70 | 69 | 66 | 71 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 53 | 62 | 66 | 59 | 68 | 71 | 70.12 | 2019- | 70 | 71 | 67 | 73 | 75 | 74 | 72 | 53 | 62 | 66 | 59 | 68 | 73 | 71.65 | 4.100xp- | 71 | 75 | 70 | 77 | 78 | 77 | 76 | 53 | 62 | 67 | 60 | 68 | 77 | ??.?? |

Really love Guerreiro and Fernandes in general, and as a pair of home talents they're super, awesome to see them growing
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Mario Vogt, a neverending mystery.
I assume ** for Bartl is just not quite enough to make something happen, but might still be enough to facilitate some candid talks on the weekend.

Vogt it needs a lot of investment to succeed at the PCT / PT level, but it may well lead a successful team at CT
** it's always better than just *, you never know what might happen with an interesting proposal

Danilo Kupfernagel could be of some interest for us. Having a space in the final leadout position after Tzortzakis left the team might see a good opportunity

Kupfernagel's time on the team may well have come to an end, it is not a priority sale and it will be no drama if he continues on the team but his departure is quite possible.

We'll get in touch as I could use a leadout for Kump in his preffered races...

The team is pleased to welcome the first reinforcements for next season.
Primoz Roglic | 328.00€ | 30yo | 4.100xp |
71 | 80 | 76 | 72 | 75 | 76 | 75 | 66 | 69 | 74 | 72 | 71 | 70 | 77.75 |
After a very successful year with Generali, where for example he won the Tour of Cyprus, Roglic comes to our team with the difficult mission of replacing Gesink. Interestingly his coming is part of the deal that took Gesink to his previous team.
Will be our leader and have the full support of the team to achieve our goals.
Lionel Coutinho | 75.00€ | 27yo | 4.100xp |
72 | 63 | 65 | 52 | 75 | 74 | 77 | 55 | 79 | 80 | 55 | 64 | 52 | 75.18 |
Like Roglic, Coutinho also comes from a time that can be considered successful. With three stage wins at the Benelux Challenge and Tour of Turkey, as well as plenty of top10 serving Rothaus - Aegon, it was undoubtedly one of CT's best sprinters last season.
This year we are not expecting the same results but if we can reach some top10 then it will be considered a good signing for the team.
Joao Rodrigues | 50.00€ | 25yo | 3.00xp |
64 | 74 | 70 | 70 | 70 | 72 | 73 | 55 | 61 | 71 | 69 | 68 | 70 | 72.91 |
Rodrigues is one of the promises of Portuguese cycling, this will be his debut year at ManGame so no great results can be expected. If we consider its potential, this was a great deal for the team that in the future will have a great domestic at their disposal. Possible trainings
V1- | 65 | 78 | 73 | 74 | 73 | 75 | 77 | 55 | 61 | 72 | 70 | 68 | 74 | 76.15 | V2- | 65 | 78 | 74 | 72 | 72 | 75 | 76 | 55 | 61 | 74 | 72 | 68 | 72 | 76.31 |

Some excellent wheeling/dealing, and I love the pickup of Rodrigues.
Building a nice PCT squad again there, fintas

Great to see Coutinho sign with you. He should be a useful rider. Also good job on Rodrigues. He went very very cheap, but I suspect the market lacked a second portuguese team to fight over him

@Booker- thanks, Rodrigues was on my list since the first DB came out, thankfully it was possible to buy it for a very reasonable price.
The promotion is not in our goals so I think the team will be more than enough to make a quiet season.
@AbhishekLFC- The only one that can really be considered a steal is Rodrigues, since to have Roglic I had to give up Gesink. Coutinho I think comes for a reasonable price but far from being a steal
@Gustavovskiy- I sighed with relief as soon as I saw your project change, I knew that if you continued with Prio-Porto it would be very difficult to reach some of the riders I had on my list. I hope Coutinho and now Afonso can have a good season with my team.
@Yellow Jersey- That is a secret mate.
I honestly think that the fact that he entered in the DB already at level 3 and potential 4 eventually did not draw the attention of so many people. Still, I was quite surprised that no one even tried an offer for him, but good for me.

Another day and two new faces come to the team. However it is also time to say goodbye to some riders
Vitor Rodrigues | 50.00€ | 33yo | 4.100xp |
69 | 77 | 72 | 66 | 70 | 73 | 69 | 55 | 62 | 71 | 73 | 67 | 66 | 73.92 |
The veteran Portuguese rider is already one of ManGame's legends, especially at ContinetalTour where he got a lot of wins, last year he even managed to win the first edition of the Sakartvelo Trophy.
Obviously at 33 he is already far from his peak form, but still throughout the year may have the chance to try his luck. But his main goal will be to help our leaders whenever necessary.
Luis Afonso | 55.00€ | 29yo | 4.100xp |
68 | 66 | 77 | 58 | 75 | 73 | 70 | 52 | 57 | 70 | 70 | 71 | 58 | 74.05 |
Afonso is a rider made for the classic and that reinforces the team in that sector. With a tremendous capacity for suffering and some acceleration the short climbs do not frighten him. So far he has not had great career successes but with some luck he will be able to get good results for the team.
A small note of thanks to our former riders who decided to give their careers a new direction.
Gesink will always be remembered for being our best rider in the team's history, while McEvoy has always been an excellent professional.
