KULCZYK - DMTEX TEAM HQ

JERSEY

TEAM INTRODUCTION

Jarosław Kaczyński, considered the most powerful politician in Poland, has been leading his Law and Justice Party into the upper echelons of Polish governance. As he rises, he spreads his myopic protectionist worldview that Poland can thrive without membership in the European Union. Though the President and PM are both supportive of the EU, Kaczyński wields tremendous influence within the country.

The Polish business community has sought to change this tone, realising that protectionism and other illiberal policies would be devastating to the country's economy. They came to the richest family in Poland, the Kulczyk's, with an idea to fight back through alternative means. They decided it would show the world that collaboration with the EU was effective if a cycling team made up of Poles and other Europeans competed at the highest level.

Kulczyk – DMTEX will be an opportunity to convince the powerful in Poland, that teamwork with Europe can be successful. The team will have a strong Polish core, but will include riders from across the continent. The team is delighted to have acquired its Continental Tour license, and will be looking to challenge for promotion in its inaugural season.

ABOUT THE MAIN SPONSOR

| Kulczyk Investments SA

Kulcyzk Investments is an international investment firm with interests in energy, infrastructure, chemicals, and mining. Throughout the company’s history, a strong emphasis has been placed on collaboration throughout the region and continent, and current board members are concerned about the nationalistic tone of politics in Eastern Europe.

The board has authorised the sponsorship of a cycling team to counter the political noise coming from Poland appearing in European media. The company expects multiple Polish riders on the roster, as well as integration with European Union powers and other Eastern European states.

Kulczyk is flexible with its team performance due to its over-performing assets, but for the partnership to continue, riders from several European states must be assimilated.

ABOUT THE SECONDARY SPONSOR

| DMTEX

DMTEX is a French company with extensive links to Polish cycling. Having previously been the shirt maker for the Polish national team and Polish UCI team CCC-Sprandi-Polkowice, the company is making its debut as a team sponsor.

The company will be team’s apparel partner, providing kits, training gear, and luggage in addition to fiscal support. The company expects at least two French riders to be on the roster.

ADDITIONAL PARTNERS

| Fenioux-Multisports | Nutrition

Team Pexit? Polexit? Should be interesting Pfft I like the HQ already, can't wait to see how this develops. A Polish-French team in the CT has already gone for direct promotion before, can you do it as well? Pfft

@hillis91, @Tamijo, @Aquarius97 - Cheers fellas, hope to keep everyone updated on this developing story.

@jandal7 - Polxit? "Polk-sit" - the sitting polka? Anyway, you're heaping the pressure on, so fingers crossed we can follow up that achievement, though I have a ready-made excuse if the solid Polish riders have already been snapped up Wink

Shonak
I too love the back story, great idea. Jersey looks also lovely. Next to the two great polish PCT teams, this is a most welcome addition. All the best for your debut.

Welcome to the MG and welcome to a proud nation of now 3 managers, where the first two managed to promote in their virgin season. I did indeed manage to promote with your exact combo, all you need is some captains to lead you through the ever so fun CT division.

I think you'll find us invested in sharing the wealth of our talent equally, so our nation might one day find itself in the PT. Look forward to doing business with you and post transfers we hope for a great season for all. Enjoy CT while it lasts, can be quite fun, but obviously winning is even more fun Wink

JERSEY PRESENTATION

Warsaw, Poland -- This blustery August day at the Kulczyk Investments offices saw Sebastian Kulzcyk, scion and CEO of the family firm, reveal the new jersey of the brand-new Kulczyk - DMTEX cycling team.

"We're really delighted to have had such a quality designer [the_hoyle] offer to lend his talents to our mission. The people of Poland, and all of Europe, owe a great deal of gratitude to Mr. Hoyle. The jersey is incredibly sleek and reflects the Kulczyk vision of seeing a Poland, golden with prosperity, continuing as a part of an integrated European project.

So without further ado, here is Kulczyk - DMTEX's new 2017 jersey!"

i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/elmerfudd2/jersey_zps6pcak2a9.png

Raphael Löe, manager of DMTEX, the secondary sponsor of the team and supplier of the jersey and other team apparel, was excited about the presentation.

"We're just so happy to be a part of this fantastic project at DMTEX, Kulczyk have been great partners so far and long may this collaboration continue. I'm especially looking forward to seeing some French riders in this classy jersey, but I'm sure some of the young Polish talents riding in 2017 will do the country proud."

@Shonak - Really kind words, thanks mate. Hopefully we'll be able to follow in your footsteps, though I wouldn't plan on it. Even 1/2 of your footsteps would be nice for the debut season.

@sgdanny - Any help I can get is always appreciated, and bringing Poland up is definitely the goal! I'll take the role of developing those young talents this season if I can also join you and Nexia in PCT next season, fair enough? I'll have to learn about the whole winning bit to this game in the meantime...

I'm already worried! Very well thought out team you have here. A neat and clean jersey that's soothing to the eye. We might just manage to stay out of each other's way in the transfers but there's no escaping the races Pfft

Booker
@AbhishekLFC - I'm just hoping to cap the enemies I make through transfer bidding at 5 Pfft

Easy solution to avoiding each other during the season: just use up all your race days on the C1 races, I hear you can score loads of points there Wink

Thank you as well for the kind words

Awesome to see a new Polish team Grin Love your back story too and I like the jersey, will stand out with an unusual but cool looking colour combination. Smile

Looking forward to attempting to avoid stepping on other Polish toes during the transfer season! Pfft

@trekbmc - Glad to join the Polish stable, even though a certain Pole formerly plying his trade in Africa may disrupt our plans for a cordial transfer window Wink

In all seriousness, thanks for the welcome, it's highly appreciated!

@krisa - Leave it to the other jersey maker to spot out that minor indiscretion Wink We'll just say Alé does the bib shorts.

Glad the fantastic jersey by the_hoyle is getting some well deserved recognition though, stunning work by him.
