The goals were obviously going to be hard when you don't have a top TT rider on your team but the depth of your squad has been apprent all season as shown by your massive list of top 10's |

Volta a Portugal was really unlucky for Kärcher with Karpets probably not in a good shape during those 11 days, i know that feeling when aging leader is just rolling in somewhere around 20th from different races this year.
Volta a Portugal was even a great disappointment to me, nor in my worst nightmares I expected a result so poor.

I expected to fail the objectives of the TT but not the other. Really my team has shown great depth, and almost all have been able to achieve places in the top10. Unfortunately the lack of a true leader of emphasis has undermined much of our ability to achieve even better results and better team standings.

Renewal Plans
The season is approaching the end with only 6 races to run for to our team. Among which is the Linbon Classic that does not count for ranking purposes, so the next season starts now being planned. Then disclose the team's plans for the renovations that approach
Definitely staying:
Linus Gerdemann
Danilo Kupfernagel
Marcel Barth
Johannes Frohlinger
João Cabreira
Daniel Eduardo Silva
Sérgio Sousa
Fabio Silvestre
André Cardoso
Jóni Brandão
These are the cyclists who we intend to maintain in the team, Gerdemann, Kupfernagel, Sousa anda Cabreira managed so far to obtain good results, and and are some of the important members of our team. And as a team is not just made up of leaders, all other will continue to play its role as helpers.
Staying but will be loaned:
Pedro Paulinho
Marcio Portela
Amaro Antunes
The purpose for these three cyclists is being loaned to a PT team so they can be max out next season. But if this is not possible we will be very pleased to continue to rely on their services
Staying for the right price:
Vladimir Karpets
Jonathan McEvoy
Alfredo Balloni
Federico Rocchetti
The results of McEvoy and Karpets do not justify the high salaries, so to stay in the team will have to accept a significant reduction in wages. Ballomi and Rocchetti should be in the team but the possibility of a sale is not ruled out, once the plan is to build a team with Portuguese and German riders
Definitely leaving:
Allan Davis
Sascha Damrow
Jorge Azanza
Rui Pedro Vinhas (return to Prio-Porto)
Rodrigo Nascimento (return to Prio-Porto)

That's a beautifully-designed recap of your season. Having closely witnessed some of your final races I clearly feel you could have had better luck. Let's just hope PCM14 is kinder to you
Anyway thanks for taking Vinhas and Nascimento in your squad. I'm sure there will be more deals between us in the forthcoming season as well. Cheers

Congrats on another season done and dusted. Very nice layout throughout the thread.
Will be weird(!) to be racing against you and Prio-Porto so often next season after so many deals took place between the three teams in the last off season. Really weird! |
