As ember said, the chances for Skjerping will probably be limited. Think the same will apply for Watson, so I hope that they both do a good job for their leaders. Morton, Galta and Holst Enger should all do good in this race, so hoping for some success on that behalf.

Herklotz forgoes his chances on a decent GC to hopefully be a part of the winner's team and give Festina some of the kindness back that they showed towards us throughout the last years.
As mentioned he'll have leadership himself next year, so we don't want to risk him accidentally winning and becoming ineligible this year already
Additionally, Sütterlin has a decent shot at good stage results in the TTs, so after a year absence we return here with two rather significant riders and I look forward to the racing.

The race I've been looking the most forward to this year (as last year tbh :-p). Still hope for Zabel to become the rider to win the most stages, and take his second green jersey.
Really hope we avoid a repeat of last year where he won the sprints behind the break stage after stage

Obviously cheering for Strava. Schir and Pellaud gonna do their best to make Kung improve last years 9th spot.

Been looking forward to this race aswell, maybe Carapaz top ten with some luck?
Otherwise breaks is were I lay my eyes. Morton for the GC (sorry Sotd)!

After some rather boring (aka disappointing) weeks for Oz, this race will hopefully give us some reasons to celebrate! Festina will be tough to beat and of course Morton needs to gain time that he will lose in the TT. But of course it's doable with Morton being the stronger climber/puncheur (looking only at his main stats). No huge support for him, but at least Haig (as the last man in the mountains) and Watson (hills) should be okay for at his side.
We once more or less failed here, when Bennett was one of the favorites and failed in the final stage (riding for Red Bull, iirc), so I definitely want to podium this thing! Actually anything but a Top-2 would be something like a dail, I guess.
Hoping for less breakaway wins than last year, btw! Give Zabel a bunch sprint at least

If the route didn't have that long TT then La Lavandier could have a real go at a top ten here, but I could see him struggle to make even the top 15.

In Alpina terms we don't have nearly as good a team this year as we did last year, but I'm very much looking forward to how the loan-ins like Pereyra perform as part of the wider Alpina Avenir setup. I particularly enjoyed following this race last year, and will do so again this time as it's always interesting to see how younger riders are performing. Hopefully we can have some results of our own to shout about, most likely from breaks, but perhaps we should be trying to save our luck for the races where the points matter!

Been looking forward to this, Kudus gets his chance. An outside bet for a top 5, I'm hoping he shows himself this year ahead of an attempt to win it next season. Would be great to see Uwi and Manfred also involved at the front at some point as well. |

It will be interesting to see Mohoric in this race eventhough I'm already looking more forward to next season when he will improve even more.
I've got a full 6 man team with only my riders some of them (Buchmann, Exner) only signed for this one so i hope they dont disappoint me and at least show themselves in the breaks or sth.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Hopefully Kung can get another top 10 performance and Strava's strong results all season can be continued and their tactics get learnt by Kung and Muhlberger ready for when they return to us in future seasons.

Pibernik is just here for the great experience (thanks for adding him though I applied so late, SN). But of course I'll cheer for van Poppel and maybe Pibernik can support him a bit. For the GC fight I'm really loving my outside viewpoint.

Very Mountainous route I think here for Avenir, but also quite a long chrono too.
Lecuisenier surely should win as ever it will fascinating to see how others do scrambling behind.
Hoping Edmondson can support Groinpainagain quite well.

Can't really expect much more than breakaway representation with our squad. We're just happy to collect the XP here. That being said, Ndayisenga could return next year to be a real threat to the top 5 in the GC.

Some very strong riders here. Looking forward to the racing! Would be cool if Formolo or Senyenov can get in a break.
