.:Welcome to the New Eurosport x GCN Team:.
We welcome a 7th year in the MG for Team Manager Phil Hoyle, and for the first time, we survive the PCT battle to remain in the division. After 3 years riding under the GCN name, Eurosport will come onboard to add a boost to our budgets and hopefully mean we can compete with the best in the division this season.
A key transfer season and renewals season will lay ahead, as we will see a potential goodbye to the old guard and welcome a younger team to our Bath based, British Team.

.:2021 Jersey Reveal:.
The new HQ is live, the back office admin has begun with renewals and we are delighted to reveal the new 2021 Eurosport x GCN jersey.
With Eurosport coming onboard, we have a change away from the red of GCN from the last 3 years. A fresh colour palette will be part of the PCT peleton, as we are delighted with design put forward by new Clothing Supplier Le Col.
The new light blue and white design is stunning in our eyes and we cannot wait to see it in action when the season commenced in January. Very clean in look, the Eurosport x GCN dominate the jersey and shorts, with new Bike Supplier Cervélo also taking prominence on the sleeves and front of the shorts.
Unlike last season, we got our admin correct when it came to the National Championships, so we currently have 4 designs that will be sported by our riders over the next 12 months.

Part of my hoped you'd just go to the Discovery Group level and re-imagine their '07/08 World jersey.
And anyone else just see the "Destiny" game logo?
It's a nice color scheme though, always a fan of big bright contrast jerseys
Strong base to keep building off and hoping you challenge strongly for a top-half finish.

It could evolve into the Discovery team of old... that's a nice idea! Not noticed the destiny logo before but now you say it! The base is good so hopefully I can free up some cap space and add to the team with more strength

Development is the key for this year - I do not have the plan of going backwards

Itami was top scorer for us so thanks a lot for the deal on that! He is getting old though, so need some others to come through and pick up the slack in the future. Bleed through some new blood

The MGUCI have released the retained lists of all the 2021 Teams ahead of the new season, and we thought it was only fair that the new Eurosport x GCN Management Team would do the same.
A similar trend to previous seasons takes place, with the main core of the team forming a base for our 2nd season in the PCT, ahead of transfers. A majority of riders accepted small reduction with little or no resistance, with all but a handful of riders agreeing to our offers in Round 1. Maurice Schreurs and Jesse Sergent were the biggest with a wage drop, and also Scott Thwaites also accepting a lower wage and opening up a considerable amount of cap space.
Only 3 riders were given an increase, with Ryan Gibbons (first year maxed), Clenne Morvan Moulingui and Kenji Itami seeing minimal rate increments.

We sadly say goodbye to a total of 7 riders. A majority due to their age, with Steven Burke, Gasore Hategeka, Pieter Jacobs, Erik Mohs and Rui Pedro Vinhas all feeling the decline that comes with old age. We also say goodbye to Michael Matthews and Michael Vingerling. Both came to the squad last year and sadly their stubbornness with demands meant we could not come to an agreement for 2021.
We wish the released riders all the best with their future endeavours.
