Welcome to Differdange, Luxembourg. Today we have a Team Time Tial on the menu and a very special one; with only two riders per team! An Individual Time Trial is already a discipline on it's own, but in this race you also have to keep an eye out on your fellow rider.
Last year winner Karcher is here to defend their title and they do it with the same riders as last year: Alfredo Balloni and German NC Jacob Fiedler.
12 PCT and 6 CT teams (cycleYorkshire, Eddie, Elta, KAYAK, Schuh and Löbauer) are on the startlist, it will be interesting to see which tactic will work best today; a very strong Time Trialer plus a decent one, or two good Time Trialers with almost the same power.

Love the preview. I was actually thinking we would be a little higher up the favourites list, but I still think with Kuboki's all around ability and Kwoks TT ability we can finish well.
Karcher do look like the favourites though.

One of the stronger teams on paper, so a top result should be achieveable here.
Team Fiedler gotta be the favourite again though.

might have been a fail not to send Tennant/Kasa here, but we'll see if it was the right decision...
obviously rooting for the spanish wonderkid and the overpriced dutchman now, but if I had to bet I'd go with the Generali-Duo - go Matt!

Anything less than a podium will be a disappointment. Anything less than a top 5 will get Van Winden and Viviani sacked.
Hard to see Fiedlers team lose this but it can happen and I'd love to see it occurring in our favor
As usual fantastic graphical preview Oleg. Nitpicky here but Oliveira is the only one with a NC mini in the startlist!

Little more teams than the last years, seems we have to give it a tough fight to get this ranking points. Bookies have us on 10th, what must be our minimum goal. Schär/van Zandbeek may be the most homogenous duo able to manage the wavy sections.
Karcher, Wiesenhof, Valio are the teams I expect making the podium.

When you really look forward to a race, then realised you flubbed the startlist selection and therefore go from having a good chance to no chance at all...

Outstanding preview Oleg, thanks!
Karcher is the clear favourite here, their race to lose. Podium honours to be fought between cycleyorkshire, Hugo Boss, Generali and wiesenhof.
We are hoping to be in the fight for a top5 with Valio and Novatek. Not sure what to expect. Anyway good luck guys!

Looking at the teams here this could become quite a close battle. Hoping for at least a top-5 here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we scored worse than that (or better, why not?)

Had hoped for a spot a bit higher on the favourite list, but it looks like a very close fight for 3rd place with Karcher and Generali likely taking 1-2

Hoping for a top 3 here from Brandle and Schadlich. Should be a good pairing for this, close in TT-stat and with ok/good backups
How much could daily form matter here?

Everything,
You can basically have all spots between 1st and 8th with your squad, depending on daily form...

CT teams scoring low points, I might have taken the right decision not to send Tennant/Kasa here
Congrats to trekbmc for winning here with 2 absolutely amazing riders!
Shame for Matt to fail with that team...also Hugo Boss with a bad result, but well it's 500k Ligthart who came for this race...
fantastic result for Shimano, who would've thought that?

Surprising winners, but congrats.
Had really hoped to hang on to the win after holding it for so long, but all-in-all I'm quite happy with a 3rd place
