Yay me! Just got the game on Sunday...started an actual game on Monday where I was trying to win, and last night won the Tour of Qatar. Yay me!
Then again my team outclassed the rest of the field so I probably should have. And I was playing on easy. But it was a nice motivator.
Cancellara took first and won 3 stages, Valverde should have had 2nd and 2 stage wins but only ended up with 3rd and 1 stage win because I blew a finish with him - broke him away just a bit too soon and he was caught in the last 100 meters and passed by 4-5 sprinters.
Thanks. I'm sure to the old-hands here it's like "haha nOOb" but it felt good to be like "Okay I actually understand this game enough to win not just a stage, but a whole race." Felt good.
Now I just need to work on my mountain-stages and also on my sprint-finishes (as opposed to having a "flats" rider break away from the sprinters enough to get victory).

GJ, and winning a race always feels good. Doesnt matter which difficulty or which race.
Thanks Crue. I used some of this (particularly on the mountain stages) last night and have one of my climbers setup to win King of the Mountain in the race he's in right now (was either the Mediteranean Tour or Tour of California - have 2 squads in 2 races right now).
Yeah i know what you're feeling right now =). I put myself on the team Trek Livestrong and gave myself a 74 TT rating with an 8 potential and in my first TT at the Tour of California i came in second 8" behind Cancellara... felt good!
