The last time-trial in Vuelta Pais Vasco v2008, what percentages do you set your riders on? I have a 76 TT rider, 20 seconds behind Valverde, and I want to beat him!! Thanks, Halvor |

Who's Halvor? you will never beat Valverde, didn't you read the news he's doped.
Now seriously I think that normal tactics that you use in a TT. I think that Valverde is lower than 76 so you could beat him but I'm not sure if you will do it with 20 seconds

I know he's a dopehead But I mean how many percent do you set it to? Valverde has 73TT. I lost Amgen Tour of California against Valverde with the same rider, but he was 10 seconds in front then. When playing hard I suck on TT's |

Make sure the riders you have who ride before your rider ride v. slowly. The AI won't set such a fast time then. |

But I've played the stage, and I beat Valverde by one second on the stage, 3rd overall...there are about 12 km downhill, and Fothen has 63 DH. Basso won, but he had 68. He rode fast. I have a backup, and I think I'll try another time. |

experiment with the rest of your squad, if a TT is flat and under 30km i like to set them around 63, this will set their Heart Rate at 170, if rider is losing engery quicker than distance left bar then put him down to 59 until the energy bar catches up, with a good TT rider i think 64 is a good starting point then adjust if need to. I think a perfect TT has the Heart Rate sat on 169 all the way

I always save a bit of energy in the beggining of the TT. I may do 25km of the 30km tt at 47km/h and the top riders are doing 49km/h but in the last 5k i can push it to 50km/h, when they are in 42/43, and dying in the final k.
This tactic has worked very well till now, on my carreer in Columbia, Martin is kicking the hell out of Cancellara |
