Again malposition not help Haussler, yet the 6th place is not bad.
I enjoyed seeing the team to be aggressive and put a man on the break, Vogt finished the stage in the top 15 and participate in the final sprint gives me hope that the decisive step he is able to be among the best.
Although without any big result so far I'm liking what I see from the team

Hmm 9th wasn't a great start for Guerao. Hoping he performs better in the other sprint stages to justify his selection for this race.
Quality reporting roturn, thank you

Nice setup from the Spotify team today, sad that it didn't get to be decided between the puncheurs :I
Great report Roturn!

Great to see Roy in the break picking up some bonus seconds for the GC. Caruso 9th is not a bad result given the competition here, he is looking good!

I just love seeing my own team forming a great train that's finished with a strong sprint!
Awesome, hopefully we will see a lot of Spotify - Haglöfs leadout train this season
Nice report, thanks! |

Certainly not what I wanted when training Ulissis sprint even further... Good he reacts to attacks though, looking good for Willunga, this one has certainly been disappointing though.

No bloody way! What a big win that is for Caruso!
He does have a decent sprint and good acceleration which has worked for him here. The fact he isn't in the GC lead may be a good thing as I don't want our team chasing. Nice to see Armed in the break and our team getting great TV time!
Keep up the form Caruso

Good having two guys in the front group but would loved to see Reimer catching another bonus seconds here. And another two in the 2nd group.
Congrats LLS!
btw, we are not here to make new friends it seems

Well, looks like no stage win in this years Tour and I highly doubt Kump will hold onto the GC lead on Willunga. Definetely not having the race Van Stayen had here two years ago with multiple stage wins + gc win over top puncheurs. Ill be lucky if Kump holds onto a top 5 now.
Froome or Ulissi to win.

Palini got in the front group, so I guess it's a success, but it would've have hurt for him to have at least a go in the sprint, hopefully up Willunga he can get a top ten in the GC.
Congrats LLS and thanks Roturn

Di Magg and Ullissi looked dangerous there, but Froome really will be satisfied surely, he just followed and he just has to be happy with it coming down to Old Willunga.
Ferrero Rochet doing well in a PCT field is very worrying for their CT rivals I wager!

I am quite satisfied with the performance of the team. we were the only ones to put 3 in the first group, McEvoy leads the mountain classification and we are also leading the classification by teams . Now a transition stage and then the decisive stage where I hope the team is at the same level.

Betancourt unexpectedly great in the sprint, really pleasing result and gives a great chance of a top 10.

Exciting race to follow, entertaining reports to read, thanks roturn.
Great showing by the team highly involved in the chase.
If Di Maggio can repeat last years Willunga Hill move it's still possible to defend his title. At least being 4th on the stage to Campelltown was a good omen in 2015.
Pity Reichenbach seems to be out of shape. Would be awesome to watch a Swiss leader (other than Cancellara) compete with the best on PCT level.

I like what I see! With Kump being in the leaders jersey he´ll at least try to contend on Willung Hill, that´s half of the job done for a good GC placement
