Another horrible stage, with the break predictably taking it. Hoped Chaoufi could hold on for a good result with his good hill stat, but looks like he didn't have enough.
Considering this race has been so break dominated I'm happy with 8th from Ben Nasser, his consistent high finishes seem to be paying off. Now to hope Impey can get a win on the final stage. |

Considering I couldn't give Proni away in transfer season - only one team contacted me - I'm pretty happy with this result. Hope he can hang on |

Aaah super unfortunate that Hofland didn't get a gap.
Strange stage again. Favorites are really suffering from apathy. Atleast the peloton did do some hard chasing this time.

They said Geschke would be a useful rider.

They said he would get some stage podiums.
Gets protected by not less than six riders and still sucks. Nuff said.

Both of our leaders would miss the split, it's just our luck at the moment. Impey misses the stage, and Ben Nasser loses his GC. What a horrible race for us.
Made worse by promotion rivals Gazelle once again pulling results out of nowhere, producing 2 top-10's from the final stage.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha. |

This race reminded me of my trip to Bergen. An overnight ferry trip for 15 minutes in the rain before heading home because a storm was coming. Norway, I am disappoint (again).
But anyway, thanks to tsmoha for the reports and congrats to those who did well out of the lottery |

Brilliant racing from our team on that last stage. Very happy with the overall result, the team again showing good depth in the hilly terrain.
jph: It always rains in Bergen, you can't expect anything else

Hated the race found it pretty random or just nothing happening
Plus side Bellis did well again and Reus managed a good result |

this race was a huge success for the team.
second in the GC, 4 in the top 20, third in the points classification and the first by teams and U25.
these results were unthinkable at the outset for this race, it would be impossible to do better. But it was only possible thanks to a very strange IA.
Once again thanks for the reports tsmoha

Way above our expectations, yet disappointing to get so close, still a lot of points, with the Giro del Capo and this, our promotion dreams are still alive
Especially considering this part of the season has a large number of hilly races for us, where it seems anybody but Zeits and Sinkewitz can do well.

Jesus Christ. I start to believe that Geschke won't be in the top ten of Evonik's best point scorers at the end of the season. And in this case that's not a sign of depth but a very bad joke as he would need about 25 points for that
Let's say it is interesting what the AI made out of this race. A ct race winner, succeeding breaks and a wild di Maggio in the break are somewhat interesting decisions.

I wonder, who's disappointing his manager more:
Lecuisinier or Geschke?
Well, probably Intxausti would "win", but that's out of question!

Weird race indeed.
Happy raging Di Maggio helped minimize our losses unlike other high expected contenders.
Luckily no bets have been available for this race, we all would be bankrupt by now.
Gratz to Cav-Fan, hope he'll recognize his victory soon and thanks to tsmoha for the creativity put into the reports!

Great last stage by my riders. From nowhere to 6, 9, 12, 14 in GC.
Shame that the AI in this tour was so strange though. Indeed felt like a lottery.
Nonetheless, thanks for the reports tsmoha.

one stage win but still a bad race for us...
Loosing an accetable 10th in GC on the last stage to 25 instead... |
