Van Asbroeck has something to make up after his 12th in the opening race. Not the best team I sent here, but they should support him enough.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A race that should well suit Kadri. Too bad there are many riders of the same type who are better. Nevertheless let's hope for some good result.

Whilst it is shown as flat, I think the winner will be a puncheur who has a little bit of sprint. Reimer or Bellis for me to have this. Nice preview roman

A new battle between Kump and Reimer? I think so...

The pull of Eritrea kept Impey away from what otherwise would have been a very suitable race for him, so interesting to see how it plays. If he's gonna fail in Eritrea though, I guess I gotta hope for the hills to have no effect here so it is no opportunity lost!

Very happy with that result. Little surprised to see Guerao win there, but 2nd is better than I expected from Bellis nonetheless - looks like if the line was 10m further away he would have won. The gamble definitely paid off here.
Thanks for a great report Roman, and congrats to Stromeon! |

First disappointment of this season. Zabel just not strong enough at the end.
However, my team tried everything. Both Paulus and Zingle attacked while I had Zabel for the end sprint which bodes well for the rest of the season

Damn, Vantomme must've had a terrible day being dropped early despite having the same hill stat as the winner and Stachowiak and Morkov, my puncheurs both waited for him effectively ending their race.
At least Pierzga came 14th, can't really complain as I knew it was a risk coming here in the first place.
Congrats Stromeon and thanks Roman for the great report.

Most of my riders were with the peloton and we had participation in the breakaway, so this was a pretty solid result

Oh well, once again we find out hills on flat rated races have basically 0 effect... Guerao winning therefore is quite a surprise, but anything could have happened here.
Thanks Roman for the great report and gratz Stromeon!

FFS Van Asbroeck, where did you disappear to in the last kms? 12th and 7th just isn't good enough if we want to stay in.
Thanks for the reports so far.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Rotten classic luck for Bouhanni. Nothing new for him over the last season. Not at all happy considering he would probably have been capable of a good result here....
One consolation, Armee attacked a lot

Was afraid this race were gonna be somewhat of a clusterfuck when I saw the first few riders get dropped (they were pretty strong) and I was right.
Irrelevant hills and a messy sprint (and a messy race for sure) leaving us with pretty random results.
Still pretty satisfied with the final results, leaving us with a 4th and 9th place. Could definetely been way worse there. Jans saving the race single-handely for me, what a beast! Bad daily form for Kump were hopefully the reason he didnt get a train here.
Congratz to stromeon though, what a win for Guareo! Thanks for the report Roman

Great report! What an eventful race.
We tried our best with Juarez and Richeze, but in the end we'll have to settle for what we've got.
Could've been better, but no use looking back. |

What the fat bastard won - great pleased for Coldeportes having to carry that useless tub of lard everywhere.

Quite a nice result for us here. The team has been active all day and Rabon still showing he has some power in his legs. Kadri also in the top-10 makes this a more successful race for us than expected
Thanks for the nice report Roman

Baugnies shoulr have done something like Summerhill did ;(
VdS ok, not really good but hills hurt us more in the race than anticipated.

Well, lucky January is obviously over.
My fast men (Appollonio, Aregger, Gatto) caught on the wrong side of the early random split and Marcel Wyss seemingly involved in the Bouhanni crash.
With my worst riders for the terrain/finish left in the front group our race was done before it was over. Strange letdowns always happen during the course of a season, but a little sad it has caught us at our first goal race.
Gratz to Coldeportes!
Nice one by Reinhard for UBS, too. At least a Swiss team is presented on the podium.
And thanks for reporting, Roman!

Thanks for a great report.
Good to see Lo Cicero having the speed after the slightly hilly terrain. Would have been great if he had kept his head cool or if Breschel had given him a lead-out though.
Decent effort, disappointing result.
