I was worried that my team wasn`t in the race as I neither have seen nor read about them until the 40th picture or so, which also shows how huge the report was!
In the end though a weird race with such pace and still a peloton sprint.
Congrats to Bpost as you deserve this win I feel. I can live with 4th as Vanmarcke is just about there in most classics.
But disappointed taht once more Nooytens gets dropped early...a 76 cobbler should be scoring a bit more here and there I feel. He had top10`s in last years PT classics. |

Congrats to Bpost
Taubel tried atleast, but there is a reason he is a helper for Zepuntke and not my leader, not strong enough

Good result for Daniel, he just ran out of speed in the end because he came from very far back in the group.
Weber making it into the final selection is nice too, and Declerq, Lander and Giaux winning the sprints from their respective groups is exactly what I bring them to these races for.
Herklotz with a nice try to get into the break as well.
Man, the AI...it was a really nice race until the last kilometres, although it's actually a bit understandable since noone would want to lead out Boonen to a certain win.
Congratulations to BPost who expectedly pull away from us again, and thanks for this amazing report!

Well, no notable result, but it's good to see Ford and Scully amongst the early attackers, showing our colors at least. Had minor hopes for Visconti to do something, but anyway, he had his huge results elsewhere
Gratz, Count. A good win from many points of views, imo.
My mobile struggled to load this report, so thanks for the effort you put into it, matt!

Awesome report!
Great result by Boonen. He's such a great rider that it's a shame to see him aging so much.
I also liked the AI for once. Of course the last kilometres were not ideal but it is not too unrealistic that those riders don't want to guide each other to the line. A few attacks would have been much better than this sitting up ofc.
I'm feeling with Azteca though. They are the big loser of the rivalry at the front.
Thanks for the report!

Intense report, and a very exciting race.
Trentin made the right choice in waiting, and even though he was close to something even better, a 3rd place is very good for us here. Very happy with that.
Thanks for the brilliant report, matt, and congrats to BPost and Count.

Just have to say Ahlstrand needed this HC race to reach max level so you don't think what an Idiot sending Ahlstrand to this race!
Anyway great report as expected no points for us here and congrats Bpost. |

I was scared when I see Pit Schlecther attack, but Vesuvio getting 0 point is a bit dissapointing for them I guess. 5-10 points would probably have been the most fair. But I'll take whatever luck I can get, at this point
Congrats on the win BPost. A really cool rider.

Terrible tactics for Baugnies and the AMEX squad. This is about the 3rd time this season he has attacked far too early, run out of gas and finished well done in the pack. Slow learners it seems.
Matti Breschel had another lackluster outing. All in all a very disappointing cobble race.

Very, very nice report and Alexander Sulimov is getting stronger by the race, hopefully he will be a "Gusev" soon!

Thanks for the report, that was really detailed and kept with everything really well.
This win is one of my favourites from this team ever. We did all the work we had to (distancing the entire peloton was amazing ), Vanspeybrouck stuck with Summerhill, and when it finally all came down to a sprint, having a backup option proved completely successful. Not only that but it is great to see Stallaert win it, given that he was one of the first riders that I bought in my first season in the game. To train him up so much and see the results of that is just amazing.

Tried, failed, but at least scored a little... race went pretty much as expected, Taramarcaz did a good job.
Gratz to BPost and thanks for another quality report, matt!

Ooooh, Veelers came so close to completely making his season in one race there! Very nice attack, shame he ran out of energy just a tiny bit too soon. All in all a result I'm very satisfied with though, especially since we outscored Aegon. Every little difference counts.
Good to see Bpost get the cobble success they deserve. They controlled the race and scored a very nice tactical win. Congrats Count! Downside is that this actually might have propelled them back into the title race.
Nice report again matt, thx.

Eisel was always there lurking in the group and did well in the sprint. 7th may be his best result all season so I'm not disappointed...

Well... ouch... this one didn't go as planned. Was really excited early to see a couple of our guys in the moves. Thought surely with Corwin up front that at some point Danny would just leave the peloton and work up to him, get some extra help and the finish would be a forgone conclusion. Clearly this was wrong.
In the end I guess with the nice weather the course just wasn't hard enough to completely remove all the competition and the lack of depth for Azteca finally showed.

Very deserved victory from Bpost, there, congratulations Count, that must have made you smile! Valiant ride from Thomas too. Unfruitful, but very corageous.
Good solid race from Ferreira to secure the top15. I'm hoping he can be a safe bet for a regular top10er in this sort of races come next season.
Detailed report, there matt, thank you
