Wow, a stage victory by Armindo Fonseca was the last I expected. He already spent twenty race days this season, while his best result was a 9th place in a bunch sprint. This is really coming out of nowhere!

Geschke as 10th a bit disappointed I guess.
I guess so, too
I blame his bad positioning at about 3-5 km for it. Hopefully, the next stages go better!
Congrats to Vontobel! It looks as if Fonseca had a great top speed on this stage. Impressive to win from that far behind.

At least Bulgac in the break. Not much to be expected of the sprints here.
Good to see Duggan grab a Top 10 in the prologue though.

Wow! Great racing, so glad to see my boys putting in effort and controlling the sprint. Only just missed out on the stage win, but will take the leader's jersey as consolation!

Shame PCM didn't export, but nonetheless a quiet day for our team. We just can't compete with the CT level sprinting competition, but at least I don't think nothing unexpected happened.

So Forero for once actually manages to position himself in a good place... but then is outsprinted by statistically lesser riders. Still 4th place isn't too bad I suppose, but it could have been better.

Very happy with the 2nd place, after 2 rather disappointing ones. Hope that JTL can keep it up

A decent sprint from Manarelli on stage 2 that will bring a few more points.
I expected stage 3 to be much more selective, but there you go! Having played a similar stage to stage 5 on PCM2013 the other day, I expect the favourites group to shatter on that final 3rd cat climb on stage 5. |

Fear the Team tries to provide Matteo Montaguti a good overall result. Better have some talks with the guys... by no later than stage 5 we have to focus on Marcel Wyss... or settle for a top15 with Matteo.

Interesting stage, the last ramp seemed quite hectic. Hoped for the group not to split right there, but what can you do. At least it was only a 25 second time loss for Rosskopf, who is still clinging to a top 10 spot on GC for now. Hard to judge if he can hold that with this startlist, but I hope he has better legs as the race goes on.
Also interesting some of my domestiques finished in that same group as well

Brilliant team performance(not so good pointwise though..). Hopefully we can get to-three riders in the top 10 at the end.

Good sprint by Pozdnyakov, but it would have been nicer without a break ahead.

Hell yeah! This is the kind of team that I want! We had no aspirations or leaders for this race, but great breakaway riding gives us our 2nd win anyway! Way to go Jesper!

Oh jeez. What r u doing there? A top 15 is okay but why don't you work instead so that your team mate gets a win? That would be more than okay. That would be great!

A quiet day for a hill stage with the climbs negotiated early, but a close breakaway win, which is okay. Rosskopf also seemed to have moved up a position on GC and is also 3rd on Youth, something I didn't notice. Other than that, nothing else worthy of mentioning. Good ride I guess.

Probably no stage today.
Just got a ticket for a Bundesliga game spontaneously. So won`t be at home. |

That's fine... as long as you cheer for the 96ers.
Yesterdays stage was another calm one from our side, but was a nice achievement for the successful breakaway guys.
Next stage will tell the truth, looks picture-perfect for Marcel.

I am Werder supporter. But indeed I am cheering for 96 against Schalke today. How did you know? |

Could have been better. If only the break didn't survive Podznyakov would have won. Still hopeful he'll do better than 7th
