Hilly start, flat finish. Rund um den Eschborn-Frankfurt isn't necesarily one of the easiest races to predict.
If the hills are raced hard there could be gaps everywhere, if not then this becomes a glorified bunch sprint. And don't forget the breakaway danger!
Best sprinters in their race, along with their hill stat:
| Hill | Sprint | Forero | 61 | 80 | Serebriakov | 61 | 80 | Drapac | 53 | 80 | Rowe | 62 | 80 | Hochmann | 54 | 79 | Haedo | 65 | 79 | Manarelli | 59 | 79 | Peeters | 60 | 79 | Matthews | 64 | 79 | Vingerling | 61 | 79 | Jørgensen | 59 | 78 | Westling | 56 | 78 | Fonseca | 61 | 78 | Aguilar | 61 | 77 | Sabatini | 62 | 77 |
Best puncheurs in the race, along with their sprint stat:

Looking forward to this race. It is my first goal race (Top 10 needed).
If I look at the startlist and the amount of great sprinters with a horrible hill stat then we have to make the race hard over those hills!

I am hoping for an aggressive attacking race from my boys, especially Tamayo Martinez, Sammy Sanchez and Ruben Fernandez. Good chance for a breakaway win looking at the profile and hopefully the leaders ride that first climb really hard and make life for the sprinters on the final hills absolute hell.

Anything but a Top 5 here would be a disappointment, but not necessarily a surprise. Still, Drapac has a good team around him, so I can hope for the best.

Well I have brought Rowe and a couple of leadouts. I dont expect much at all now, Wu is my best hope for a creditable result...

Making Frankfurt/Eschborn a Top5 goal was somewhat optimistic... though it doesn't seem impossible. At least we have a weapon for any kind of race development.

Your wish came true!
When Prio Porto paid us to take Mas on loan we never expected this! That is our lowest AVG rider (66.) taking a win, in one of the races where we had least expectations all season, and looking at the screenshot he really enjoyed it.
With breakaways winning so frequently on flat/hilly stages dividends are being paid to people whose lower domestiques have decent FLAT + ACC stats.
If we get promoted results like these will make all the difference, especially in one day races where the points are bountiful.
- Maybe the win is a result of doing some reporting recently, the Man Game gods paying my back! |

Great ride by Remo! Might have been smarter to stay with the group instead of attacking. But can't blame him, the bunch was getting closer and it appeared likely (at this point of the race) that the group got caught. Anyway, remarkable comeback in the final sprint to secure the team goal.
Armindo Fonseca still in good shape. Is nice to know he would have been there if the break didn't made it.
Gratz to Bonsucro who really didn't need the extra points..., but well deserved them.
And thanks to SN for reporting... this thrilling race for all of us @Vontobel!

Ah dear another break... trust our luck that when we are eventually in a succesful move (first for a while), Rivera comes last in the break. Still, it's better (or should I say less worse) than the countless other debacles this season.

Pff, it's good to be in the breakaway, especially when your sprinterdoesn't live up to the expectations, but we should do better than 6th in these races. Good report though!
