We've warmed up to the release of the next Expansion Pack for quite a while - also longer than what we'd hoped for - but now it's finally time to release it.

It's a fitting description to name this release as one of the most complete PCM.daily databases ever.

A lot has happened since the first Expansion Pack for Patch 1.2.0.0. For example, we now have a total of 100 teams. We've brought back many of the American and British teams which we know that many of our members like to play with.

There's also a lot of new races not to mention the c. 50 variants that make a long career worthwhile.

Obviously, the stats have also been updated among many other changes. Check the full feature list here.

Anyway, let's move on to the release files. The only file available now is the full package as a torrent. Get it here.

Later today, a package which updates your previous Expansion Pack to the newest version will be made available as a torrent.

Tuesday or Wednesday, the files will start becoming available on sites such as Multiupload and Rapidshare.

Two issues seem to the most talked-about right now, so let me clarify:

1. The PCM.daily Expansion Pack for Patch 1.3.0.0 will be released tomorrow at between 11-12.00 my time.

2. There's a bug which is primarily hitting the forum right now. In some cases, an error message is displayed rather than the forum content. The posts will eventually show after a few refreshes.

We will try to get this issue rectified tomorrow. It's up to the host, though - it's not in our hands.

After the announcement by Cyanide's staff and revealing there would be no more patches for PCM 12, we've been quite busy in getting PCM.Daily DB done as fast as possible. And with the help of one man - lluuiiggii - we are close to finishing the project ! Hats off to him, as again he was responsible for constructing the DB together.

Additionally, here are some of the features that will be included in our DB. Every day stuff is added to the DB and so lluuiiggii gave us quick overview of new important features. Read more to find out the details !

Another week has passed by, so it's time for a new edition of the Weekly News. This time finally with some news on the 1.3.5.0 patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2012.

Cyanide: No more patches for PCM12
Despite an earlier announcement of a patch 1.3.5.0, Cyanide hare now refusing that a patch is under way, according to Cycling Manager Italia. The patch annoucement was removed from the Cyanide Forums after just a couple of hours and now Cyanide states that Pro Cycling Manager 2012 has been finished. This means that the fixes in patch 1.3.5.0 will never be released.

Stage Variant Pack released by Cyanide
Now that work on a new patch for PCM12 has turned out to be canceled, Cyanide's focus has turned on to releasing variants for the game. A pack containing 6 variants for various races was released shortly after the latest Weekly News.

PCMBenelux replaced by 'PCMFocus'
One of the biggest PCM communities for a lot of years, PCMBenelux has been closed, more or less. This has, of course, led to a replacement for the Benelux community. The new page is called PCMFocus and can be visited on PCMFocus.com.

Stage Database is getting populated
Since the launch of the stage database, some stage makers have uploaded a lot of stages, making the number of stages increase to almost 500 already. The most complete set of stages is the entire 2000 Tour de France by bigggassi.

With roughly a week since the latest weekly news, it's time for a new edition for you, while we wait for a new patch or some news from Cyanide. Luckily, the community still provides enough material for some news for you!

17 new teams in the next version of the PCM.daily Expansion Pack
lluuiiggii has just finished the teams list for the new version of the PCM.daily Expansion pack. 17 new teams has made it into the database since the last version, making the total number of teams exactly 100. So far, 15 additional new races have been added. The number of races is likely to be increased even more, though.

Beautiful stages being made for PCM12
If you haven't visited the PCM12 stage forum for a while, now is the time to do it. Some beautiful stages have been made showing an growing creativity and sense for detail among stage makers. Shack has made some very interesting stages with a high variety of fun details, e.g. motives made of camper vans or hay bales on routes running on land formed as a palm tree or races inspired by a toy race track. Another member who has shown a high sense of detail in his stages is Magh Norway with his beautiful coast lines and small villages.

A Tale of Two getting close to 500 posts
In early August, Ian Butler started a story about two young Belgian cyclists, Stijn and Eric, making their way into the professional cycling scene on the World Tour team Lotto-Belisol. Now, after just one month, his thread has reached 25 pages and is very close to it 500th post. Along with some impressive results, his race reports with lots of in race pictures has made it the most popular PCM12 story so far.

PCM.daily Favourite Team Contest has found a new winner
For three years, Mresuperstar has organised a poll to find out which cycling team isthe most popular on PCM.daily. The contest was won by Bbox Bouygues Telecom in 2010 and by Garmin-Cervelo in 2011. However, none of these teams were even in this years final, as the final was fought out between Rabobank and Liquigas-Cannondale. Want to know the winner? Find out right here.

PCM.daily reaches 75,000 members
In August, PCM.daily has reached 75,000 members on our website. Some of the older users may remember how we (or some of us) used to celebrate every thousandth member with a new thread in the forum. For some reason, this came to an end after the 10,000th member. I guess issoisso got tired of counting...
