As expected, the fifth patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2012 has now been released.

The main work seems to have gone to the career mode and Armada with several known bugs having been fixed. There's also some "new" functionality - for example, it's now possible to use startlists again.

There's no mention of AI fixes, though, so the issue with huge pelotons on mountain stages may still exist even after this patch.

Obviously some parts of the game needed more improvement. So another patch have been announced some days ago. Now there is finally a list of fixes.

Several improvements in single player but also in Armada mode might let you enjoy the game more.

As promised (let's forget about last week's deadline...), here's the PCM.daily Expansion Pack for Patch 1.2.0.0.

This is the very first database release for PCM12 by PCM.daily, and while we didn't add a beta-tag to it, it should be treated as such. Another patch for PCM12 is coming up, and we expect to release a major update of the database when Cyanide fixes the next couple of issues in the game.

As always with the PCM.daily DBs, we've collected all the great work done by the community to one easy to install package. This means that you get a lot of high quality equipment, changing race routes (variants), lots of new jerseys, real sponsors and a lot more. For the full feature list and teams, check this thread.

As mentioned yesterday, the PCM.daily Expansion Pack is set to be released today. Since I've recently moved, my internet connection has gone from top of the class to quite sucky, but luckily, there's a few people helping getting the database uploaded.

If any of you have experience with creating a torrent, seeding it and have a good upload speed (above 10 mbit), please send me a PM.

Keep in mind that this is an early release. It's basically a slightly altered version of the 2012 DB for PCM12, and we plan on adapting and adding new features (e.g. teams and races) for the next release.

We should also mention that we did notice quite a few career bugs (in the game, not in the DB) while testing. Hopefully, these will be fixed by Cyanide in the next patch. For example, the rider panel is messed up in the World ITT Championship, and the calendar/scheduler doesn't work in the 2nd season.

As we accounced a couple of days ago, the first version of the PCM.daily Expansion Pack is about to be released. We estimated it to be released within this week. However, internet problems has postponed the release of the Expansion Pack until tomorrow.
