We have now re-uploaded all files, which means that you can now download the database and the variant DLC with no problems. You can find them in the PCM 15 download section. Thanks for your patience!
We are proud to announce that we just released the PCM.daily 2016 Database: the most complete database for the 2016 season released so far!
The database contains just as many features as the 2015 Expansion Pack, as well as a lot of quality additions that will deeply enhance your experience while playing Pro Cycling Manager 2015. If you want to take a look at the features in more detail, click "read more" at the bottom of this news article.
This doesn't mean that the database will make your game unstable, however. During the last month, we have undertaken a beta testing programme and all the bugs that have been reported have been solved. About 20 members of this community have participated in this programme, which helped us solve a lot of known issues and even sped up the process, thanks to some very useful contributions. As you may imagine, we've been working really hard on this database for the past few months, so we hope you'll enjoy it!
The 2016 Database is a standalone database, which means you don't need to have the Expansion Pack installed. In fact, we strongly recommend doing a clean install of PCM2015, before installing the 2016DB. At least 2 game breaking career bugs caused by the old version of the Expansion Pack will be solved doing so, not to mention the amount of GBs you'll save on your HDDs!

PCM.daily's Database Team proudly presents the 2016 Database for PCM2015.
Database Team
As you probably all know by now, Jesleyh left PCM.daily (hopefully for a short while), including the Database Team. Luckily we were able to add Tafiolmo to the team. He has taken over Jesley's most important task: the stats. We also welcomed MARSUPILAMI in the DB Team, to help out with the graphics. Furthermore, clamel has implemented his classification XMLs for about all of our races.
Testing phase
Because of the rather large amount of bug reports after our previous releases, we want to test the database more thoroughly before release. Therefore, we are looking for beta testers, who are available to test the database, when we've finished it. That way we hope to eliminate as many bugs as possible before release.

Release date
As always we won't predict a release date. I can tell you it'll take some time though, because of the beta testing.

PCS League Created
As you may have guessed from the quote above, this week's news is particularly biased towards leagues of all sorts. Except the League of Extraordinary Gentleman. That's not getting a reference, otherwise this will go on all day. First up is the league for the new PCS game that Ian Butler has created, simply search for "PCM.Daily" when you've signed up for the game, and take it from there. The rules are all explained on the website, so why not give it a shot? I'd give you a standings update, but I haven't had my request to join accepted yet, but next week I will. Honest.
Velogames
The first Velogames league of the season for the Tour Down Under has ended, with IanRussell taking the PCM.Daily league title. Despite leading into the final stage, roturn could only take second - which is still a sore subject for him, I'm sure - and Alakagom took time out of his busy schedule of pointlessly delaying the Man-Game to finish third. These results also had an impact on the inaugural PCM.Daily Velogames Championship set up by ringo182, with IanRussell leading the pack heading into the spring classics, though it's still anyone's title to win.
Fantasy Cycling Season Update
Remember last week when I told everyone that there hadn't been a points update for the Fantasy Cycling Season? Turns out I was wrong then, so this week I'm proving that I've learned my lesson. After the completion of the early season races, NicoVirenque leads - his success fuelled by Simon Gerrans and Dayer Quintana - with ember a close second thanks to impressive results from Jay McCarthy and Eduardo Sepulveda. Those two members top scored in the Tour Down Under and Tour de San Luis respectively, while OZrocker top scored in La Tropicale Amissa Bongo despite only having Adrien Petit in the race. And, in a shameless display of self-publicity, I feel I must point out that I top scored in the New Zealand Cycle Classic, scoring more points than all the other managers put together. Some would say that was because I had the only rider in the race, I'd say it was simply skill and good judgement.
Something New
As many of you know, at the end of the year we have the PCM.Daily awards, including the award for Best Stagemaker. However, as part of my admin application I suggested the idea of a monthly stage contest that could potentially feed into this - either by replacing the voting at the end of the year, or instead simply providing information to voters who don't often frequent that section of the forum. Until now I haven't had time, but I'm pleased to announce that February will see the first PCM.Daily Monthly Stagemaking Contest. More details will be released on Monday, and the winner will be voted for by you. And as I know how much we love a league around here, maybe it could even lead to a stagemaking league?
