Here's a thread to discuss the stats from the PCM 15 PCMdaily projects.
Everything written down here will be considered for the next PCMdaily DB.
Always an exciting moment for me to open this, considering I'm sure there are some inaccurate stats, there always are some. Hope I limited it to the minimum
Keep in mind, sure, topstats are the most noticeable stats, but those are most often a matter of opinion. I advice people to change some of those stats to their own likings.
For us it'd be much more useful to also discuss stats about smaller riders, those are often easier to miss.
We're going to apply a few rules here, because obviously some members can't control themselves.
1. If you comment on someone's post, comment on the contents of the post, not on the person!
2. Don't make fun of suggestions of other members. Everyone can post their suggestions. It's up to our statmakers to decide what to do with them.
3. Keep your posts strictly on-topic.
Any posts that violate these rules will be deleted immediately.

The stats seem to be very accurate. Good job!

Stats look just very nice off the bat.
Just from what I've seen so far, I think Hesjedal deserves 81 or 82 recovery. I know he is already one of the best, but in this matrix, pretty much every contender except for some outsiders are 77-79 or higher, so I don't think just 80 really justifies how well he does in the third week. His 78 mtn is quite fine, but I think with it you have to make his recovery advantage significant in game.
And also, the resistance stats are very low. I remember they've been like this for a while because of the way the resistance stat runs in PCM? Well, with the new energy system, people running out of yellow has been vastly increased (and perhaps a tad bit overdone), so is this still necessary? Wouldn't the matrix lying a bit higher make the gameplay just that little bit more balanced and perfect it?

Thanks.
Regarding Hesjedal, maybe 81 could be fair, yes, although he does have a huge advantage on some of the 78MO guys already(Kelderman, Fuglsang, Costa, Martin, Spilak, arguably Majka).
Can't demand him to have a bigger advantage on guys like Kruijswijk though, who also had a great 3rd week. He'd move up one if Hesjedal would move up one too.
Regarding RES, I get your point.
Actually they're a tiny bit higher than in the PCM 14 release already. We, however, want to stick close to Cyanide's matrix(assuming they know what they're doing ) and therefore don't want to go higher.
For V1.0 it could be worth some tests.

Yeah, I definitely see your point on recovery.
And testing would probably be a good idea. I'd be interested to see how that would work out with gameplay actually.
but like I said, very nice stats from what I see.

This is my review of the PRO CONTINENTAL Teams. I hope it could be a good help for you!
That is only my opinion and the result of searches, I don't hold the absolute truth.
*Androni:
-Jackson Rodriguez doesn't do anything anymore, he is overrated. He is a puncheur/climber with good sprinting. But he should have stats which we can compare with other venezuelians of the team, low backup stats.
-Taborre and Tvetcov seem to be a bit overrated.
-Taliani need more HI and more backup stats
-Stortoni needs a little help too, he made a good first half of 2015 season.
*Bardiani:
-I think Barbin is more a climber than a puncheur. He needs lower backup stats as well especially in END.
-Luca Sterbini needs a higher HIL stat than MO >which can be downgraded.
*Bretagne:
-Eduardo Sepulveda is the GC leader of the team.
-B.Feillu can be downgraded to 74 in MO.
-R.Feillu backup stats can be downgraded as well.
-Anthony Delaplace is better than Arnaud Gerard in short climbs, he needs around 72 HI, he needs an upgrade in FLAT as well, 71-72 could be good. Delaplace is a fighter.
-Périchon isn't a climber he is an allrounder, the Tour of Langkawi 2015 was a very particular race. Périchon needs around 68 MO-HI and even TT.
*Bora:
-Nerz could have a little downgrade in END and an upgrade in REC
*CCC:
-Jan Hirt needs to confirm in other races but anyway he seems to be the best climber of the team.
*Caja Rural:
-Francesco Lasca is overrated in backup stats, he has a lot of difficulties to do some decent results.
-Sergio Pardilla seems to be the team GC leader as David Arroyo seems to be a climber/fighter.
-Eduard Prades needs a little global help, he has the same profile than Carlos Barbero (but a bit lower than Barbero in every stat except MO)
*Cofidis:
-I think Vanbilsen needs more FTR.
-Edet is more a climber than a puncheur, and it's the same for Bagot
-Rossetto is a GCer, he needs around 72-73 in MO-HI and TT
-Simon is good in prologues around 72-73.
*Colombia:
-Rodolfo Torres is the best climber of the team.
- "Jorge Camilo Castiblanco CUBIDES"> Correct name should be Jorge Camilo CASTIBLANCO
- Same for "Fernando Pedraza MORALES"> Correct name should be "Walter Fernando PEDRAZA"
-Juan Sebastian Molano needs more FTR
-Brayan Ramirez is a fighter as well
-Cayetano Sarmiento doesn't do anything, he seems to be a gregario or road captain.
*Drapac:
-I think Lachlan Norris needs a little bit more in MO. He can do correct TTs as well.
*MTN:
-I think Cummings should have at least 71-72 in MO
-A little upgrade for Sbaragli in HI.
-Goss seems to be declining, maybe a downgrade in backup stats.
*NIPPO:
-I think Kuroeda needs at least 70 in SPR, and Marini is as fast as Grosu.
-Chaparro needs a little help in MO and HI but not in his backup stats.
-I think Cunego is a bit overrated in MO but I can't prove it "thanks" to his Giro crash.
*Novo Nordisk:
-Maybe a little help in backup stats for De Mesmaeker who is certainly the strongest rider in the team behind Megias, Peron and Verschoor
*RusVelo:
-Maybe a little help in Prologues and Hills for the newcomer Ivan Savitskiy.
-Serov is declining as well especially in TT.
-Firsanov isn't as strong in TTs, he is strong in Hilly TTs or Montanous TTs but not in Flat TTs
-Foliforov is a Climber/GCer like Firsanov.
-Ovechkin is the best TTer of the team
-Rybakov needs a little help in TTs.
-Evtushenko needs the same help
*Southeast:
-Petacchi needs a downgrade in SPR and in his backup stats, he isn't a leader anymore, he is a team mate or a road captain. He is behind Belletti and Mareczko in the sprinting hierarchy of Southeast Team.
-Mareczko needs some help in SPR as well.
-Andriato seems to be a little bit overrated.
-Zhupa needs more Flat.
-Dal Col is a TTer who can sprint. He is one of the worst climber of the peloton.
-Cecchinel needs more FTR
*Topsport:
-Campenaerts needs a little help in TT
-Maybe a little bit more HI for De Tier, Lietaer, Sprengers, Jens Wallays and even Naesen all around 70 instead of 67-68-69.
*Team Europcar:
-Thomas Voeckler overrated, he is declining a bit, especially in MO. He isn't stronger than Gautier for example. Around 70 in TT as well.
-Too high backup stats for Y.Martinez
-Maybe a little bit more Resistance for Jeandesboz and Mederel.
-Engoulvent is declining
-Craven seems to be overrated in HI and MO.
*Unitedhealthcare:
- Brajkovic doesn't do anything. I can't give him more than 72MO-72HI and 70TT and something like 69END, 68RES and 71-72REC.
- I would give more SP to Hanson but with a downgrade in backup stats and FLAT.
-A little upgrade for Bazzana in HI
- Lucas Euser is more a climber than a puncheur. He can make good GC in 1 week mountain races without long TT.
- Summerhill needs some help in sprinting as well as Carlos Alzate. Frattini has a quite good sprinting as well.
-Tanner Putt needs around 70 in Flat.
Wanty:
-Maybe a little help in Flat and backup stats especially END for Roy Jans.
-Maybe 74 in HI for Baugnies
-Selvaggi and Minnaard can have a boost in MO.
-Antonini can have a help in TT

Thank you for the suggestions.
What strikes me is that you mainly use 2015 results, 2014 and (to a lesser extent) 2013 results are also taken into account for our stats.
Still, quite useful
These are the kind of posts that are most useful imo

On the British scene:
Scott Davies is a TT specialist, not really a climber. No doubt he'll be a good climber in the future as he's a very promising rider. Would suggest high 60s for his TT stat.
I think it's strange that Tao Geoghegan Hart and Hugh Carthy have better MO than Josh Edmondson. The first two might have more potential, but Edmondson is definitely further on in his development.
Steve Cummings deserves better climbing stats. Had an impressive stage in the Dauphiné recently and was 6th overall in Tirreno-Adriatico, which wouldn't be possible with his current 68 MO. Would suggest around 73. Don't know what his age decline is set to but it should be higher that 34.
Kennaugh deserves higher acceleration imo. 69 seems too low for him to be able to make attacks like he did on his stage win in the Dauphiné.
I've dropped Wiggins' climbing stats to 71/70. He'll never get back to any sort of shape that deserves 75/74.
Ian Bibby seems a bit too good at climbing.
Simon Richardson retired years ago.

Thanks to you as well.
As said those are the kind of suggestions that are useful, they are easy to miss and often are right(or at least have a point) as well.
I disagree about Wiggins here specifically though. After all he won both ToC and Britain not even too long ago, so can't drop him that much.

*Bardiani
-Nicola Boem can be improve in FLAT
*Unitedhealthcare:
-John Murphy needs some help in SPR
-Marco Canola can be improved in TT
*Drapac
-Malcolm Rudolph is a sprinter too 71-72 SPR and quite good in short prologues
*RusVelo
-Igor Boev can be improve to about 71 SPR.

and i would consider put gerdemann on 72 mtn and 75 hil, he had a stunnung Form since end of May |

Dominik Nerz stats are such a joke.
Are you kidding us ?
He has a big engine. Recuperation should be --> 80
You didn´t see his performance last Vueltas as domestique ?
You will see him in the next years as TOP 5 Grand Tour Rider ,I mean that

Gave Nerz a small boost, yes, but not really the boost you desire.
Nerz is absolutely not someone who can get Top 5 in GTs nor can I see him becoming one. 80REC is only reserved for the amazing recoverers, which is not exactly something I convider him to.

Well, for some people nationality does matter yes. I remember myself being unreasonable with Gesink stat suggestions when I was new to the site
Nerz is almost 26. The other guys have a good chance, and I aknowledge that with their good potentials
Although Herklotz seems to stagnate a little lately(hope Cio93 doesn't read this )
Honestly none of them will be a huge GT threat I'm afraid. I know how you Germans are hoping for one though

Yup, Herklotz is stagnating... it's that time in a career when other riders have taken drugs in the past

Sup.
He's ill a damn lot lately though, to be fair.
Not that I can disagree completely, but remember how we always bash the Dutch talents for burning out before they're 25?
