2016 In PCM
The week kicked off in fine fashion with the release of PCM.Dailys 2016 DB release, for PCM15. It took a couple of days to get there but we'll skip over that. Already it's racked up over 1500 downloads, with the variant pack surpassing the 500 mark. A great rate of success! Very simply put, it's a 2016 DB which means updated teams and riders and plenty of other high quality work. The DB team has explained it all before.
The DB team has done a great job and they deserve an awful lot of credit and thanks. With a hopeful idea of monthly stat updates, and hopefully one or two updates, your PCM15 will replicate the 2016 season better than any other DB or any other season before!
Classic Classics
The "real" cycling season is in full flow which brings a whole load of activity to the site. Join in the discussion on todays Stade Bianche events. Remember to take part in our Velogames league with Paris-Nice imminent. Let alone mentioning the Other Races 2016, News in March, Womens Cycling 2016 threads to discuss and follow the season as it builds pace in these spring months.
Alonside that don't forget our Fantasy Betting, with Paris-Nice bets still open and Tirreno-Adriatico bets soon to appear as well. It's been a busy week for the betting with Track Worlds, Omloop, KBK, Strade Bianche and Womens Strade Bianche bets. I have to mention Carsley who won $9,712.50 on Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. He sets the early pace in the competition.
Games Galore
The site is buzzing with all sorts of activity, least of all games! The ICL has recently got itself back upto pace and is currently entering Week 2 of the Tour de France. CycloCross: A New Dawn is down in South Africa where yet again controversy is a hot topic. And as i've already mentioned there's Velogames for cycling fun.
So beyond that there's rFactor heading to Laguna Seca in Trucks in the afternoon and then the League VTCC race this evening. The Daily Song Contest is back and voting will open shortly in what should be a tight contest, unless you're Canada or Zimbabwe. Big Brother has returned for a third season, and it's worth watching the house mates battle it out. Where Am I? GeoGuesser is into a second season. And frankly they may be another game or two i've overlooked there's that many taking place. We cater for all here on Daily!
Thread of the Week
Ok the obvious picks are Cafe Pedro or the Politics Thread for their discussion on all sorts from guns to the oscars to general government to the American presidential elections. And all carried out with out resorting to insults or petty bickering, kudos guys. But my Thread of the Week goes to PCMDaily DB Stat Discussion - PCM15. A new DB kicked off big discussion but also a ton of great recommendations for smaller riders. It's been active and with great quality. |
