[HC] Post Danmark Rundt
Welcome to Denmark and the 8th edition of Post Danmark Rundt, also knows as Denmarks biggest stage race. There are no moutains or hills for that matter (where would they be?) and the flat terrain will have a huge factor on the race and final result. Former winners count Michael Rogers (2014), David Zabriskie (2013) and Kai Reus (2012)
This will be the race for both sprinters and Time Trial Specialists to set their own prey on the race, so first of all we will see intense mass sprints and in the end the winner of the Time Trial, will most likely be the winner of the race! Teams have sent their best lineups and PCT best sprinters/Time Trialists are here in Denmark!

Top 10 in the GC would be already a good result.
Hopefully we get some stage podiums though. |

A win goal here for some unknown reason this was a good idea in my head at the start of the year a top 5 is more realistic though |

Top 10 goal. Docker will probably not be sprinting at all. Hope for some breaks and a good TT from TT-guys.
Fiedler should win this, but you never know with TT's this season. Also hope to get some windy, selective stages.

Impey and Bookwalter here for us, so we should be getting a top 5 from one of them. Stage 3 suits Impey very well with the uphill finish, so hopefully he can garb a win there. |

Fiedler should win this but TTs are so random this year that it will probably be someone like Ricki Nelson.

And Ahlstrand make some good stage results. |

Carlsberg are waiting on the sidelines for the day they can show their jersey in their home country. Maybe some day!

Third and last race of the month and if it will be as good as the first two then I will be a happy manager.
One of very few races where Boonen has no chance for the overall but with four straight sprint chances he gets his chances and he only has to convert them.
No TTists here for me ( perhaps I should invest into some in the offseason ^^ ) but a decent sprint train with Dzamastagic, Dakteris and Wagner.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Go Guillen and Salas, one top ten GC and one in a stage podium would be great!
Would be even greater if Guillen could get a stage win at last. Not living up to his salary this year, not even close.
Fieldler's to lose, but he might just aswell lose out. Impossible to predict these tt's this year. Also races like this + TTT's makes me wish I had a few more great TT-ist's.

Hopefully we can mix it up on one of the stage at this one or get in a break.

Stage wins. Plenty.
Green jersey. One.
We need to make up for a certain someone again.

Groenewegen will have hard times here. But he did top3 in such field already and he has great support.
Schädlich and also Dumoulin for GC. Schädlich should do well on 30km ITT. So he better not losing time before. |

AMEX-Navigon come to this tour excited to see how much our sprinters have improved from last year. We are still 2nd tier at best but we look to get Giancomo Nizzolo to the final kilometer with the top sprinters. If he can catch a good wheel we might get a podium along the way.
I worry that the teams will not be strong enough to pull back a strong breakaway and the whole tour will go to a whim not a Sprinter to a TT rider.
Should be fun to watch - waiting for the implosion.

The main hope is of course that Bonnet, Reza and Sanz can lead Bouhanni to the finish line to grab a couple of stage wins, some podiums would also be okay. We need the points.
Second hope is a good GC from Bonnet.
Final hope is that a breakaway takes the GC and one of our riders takes an unlikely GC podium.
Let's hope for the best and some good luck!

Michael Schär had two ITT top10th this season, so he can be called our GC hopeful. The sprints will most likely stay unattended, but we're open to Fonseca overperforming... fighting for breakaway spots will be the more promising tactic, nonetheless.

Groenewegen out of a good or perfect position with a bad result then.
I guess Petit was struggling late and blocking Bouhanni/Groenewegen a bit then?
At least he is participating and hopefully gets Vantomme`s wheel later.
No time loss for the TT riders is good. |
