corti doing well so far, 6th is definitely great for the team, with Tvetcov and Karpets in a decent pos for the GC as well, just hope that the TTT wont kill us

A round of applause for Pedraza. 4'26'', that must be a new low for him.
At this rate, I should have just said fuck everything and sent Rujano here. |

Zardini
More than delighted to see someone I badly wanted during the transfers winning such a stage in that way! Congrats Sammy
Anacona is in great shape, gonna be a fierce opponent for Berhane as it seems. The stupidly biased part of me says I don't want to see that because of rankings and shit, but how awesome would it be to see a CT rider winning a PCT GT?
Thanks for the report tsmoha

Great reporting tsmoha- thanks.
Finally, in his 2nd season with us, Augustyn shows some conviction to win a race. Great ride from him, now we can only hope this bodes well for the remainder of the tour. TTT tomorrow and we're in with a shot to take the race lead.

Hooray, a hill stage with some good GC action, rather than a breakaway and a GC bunch sprint. Thanks tsmoha - for both the report and the stage design!
Congrats to Sauber. Super win for Zardini to already make up a fair bit of the unlucky time split loss.
A great team performance from Berhane and Teklit, and into the race leads is always nice. Just 7 seconds on Anacona and we seem to have a very similar TT squad to Delaval, so that will be interesting. Van Rensburg might make Project Africa a threat too.

Tvetcov and Karpets are doing very well so I guess things can only get worse
I just hope we dont lose too much time in that TTT, although both Karpets and Tvetcov are both 'strong' tters in the competition, they still need a good buffer for the mountains
thanks for the reports so far tsmoha!

Congrats Sammy! Nice to see Zardini pick up the win after a disappointing day prior. If he keeps it up, he'll definitely post a decent GC. I

I'm ... confused. That's all, confused. Yep.
I mean, Kononenko? After being the second man before Ulanowski the last 3 stages? Okay? Okay!

Nice attacking from Mansilla, that is more like it, show your butt on the screen!
Iglinskiy really should have finished 1'00 ahead of where he ended up, but that was one of the team tactics! Yeah!
We took it easy today as the team are going to win the TTT tomorrow. |

Ivanov looked lively and Panayotov wasn't awful. I mean wasn't the best of stages but our GC hapes havn't been beaten already and we did pick up some more points. So yeah, decent i guess.

First challenge and Lövkvist already lost valuable time.
I'm disappointed but maybe he got to weak support on the hills, it's not like Lövkvist is weaker then Anacona, Berhane etc. on the hills.
Let's get some time back tomorrow. |

Perfectly timed attack by Zardini, gratz to the well-deserved win for Sauber!
Penasa and Maillet finishing in a respectable group of contenders. Already losing a minute to the GC lead is a damper, but others got it worse (Antón, Quintana, Reis,...).
Now to the TTT, a discipline we dodged the whole season. Michael Schär should have been the engine, but he's lost an unsuspected amount of time the last three stages and turned from the race leader to our worst placed rider. The second best TTler: Reto Hollenstein was already two days in the break... we're really worried about our first TTT.
Apart from next day perspective the race couldn't be much better. Remo Schuler is a competitive climber regarding the KOM-jersey, two or three more early attacks can keep him up in the rankings.

ug, our good start has been terribly ruined in stage 5. Quintana completely failing. And we sure as hell aren't going to get anything back in the TTT.

What the actual fuck..... Well, that was this race lost, now it will be hard to Even get on the podium. So Anacona keeps up with Berhane while Anton loses 4 minutes, can anyone explain how this is possible?
