It just has to be shorter than some arbitrary other list, right?!

It's shorter than the entire DB, that counts surely? |

How are you new managers feelings so far?
Controll over the situation?
It's kind of mixed feelings. Don't really know how to tackle transfers. On one hand, trying to get "weaker" riders, so at least there's some basis; on the other hand, deciding on which rider to insist on bidding higher, and which one to forget. I think the first transfer period is kind of strange. At least I hope it's gonna be easier once you already have something to build on.
But one thing I've learnt for sure: 48h is a freaking long period
And no, not really in control. You never know which rider may still be interesting for someone else. You're feeling comfortable - and then someone else arrives. Can be frustrating, especially against the guys with the huge wallet. But hey, that's the game (and life is not really different imho). So it's kind of tiresome, but still fun. Especially when you've still got no clue what kind of a squad you'll end up with |

Yeah, understand that even if its ages since I joined I can remember my first transfer season... That did not went well ended up second last...
Do not talk about frustration just yet, wait until someone outbids you at the 47th hour! Yeah I guess that happens for everybody atleast once... |

I'm certainly not a new manager, and I'm certainly not in control over the situation.

Does being new to racing against PT teams count? Actually on that note we must be the oldest team yet to race against PT teams seeing as there was no PTHC and we didn't take any wildcards the only other season we have spent outside the CT division.

This is usually the time when I start to think "oh my god I'm going to relegate if I continue like this", and this season is not that much different.

Perhaps we've become transfer jaded over the years, but a 1M wage FA used to be something celebrated, commented on and discussed ad infinitum on Dailly and more laterly Skype. We've just inaugurated our 4th Million-Euro man for this season (step forward Signor Ponzi!), and not a peep out of folks welcoming any of them
I hereby acknowledge the new found wealth of Phinney, Lutsenko, Beltran and Ponzi and stand by ready to offer tax advice at highly competitive rates as required!

I'm too busy expecting the worst and praying for the best to pay attention to the big guns right now.
Transfer season is a lot harder when you start a new job on the first day.
