Things did not go the best way for the team up to this point, but the positive side is that none of the experts in the TT lost time.
Now I hope that for once the PCM follow the logic and Fiedler is able to join the victory in the stage to victory in the gc that would make this a very positive race

Meh. Upside: some points. Downside: our only TTer Bevin lost time & Kenya scores way better than us.

Better not talking too much about Schädlich`s TT. He once again was really shit. So 6th is disappointing but at least gives some points.
Dumoulin with a good ride though, which will give the needed extra points including U25 lead. Well done. Pity that he is maxed already and can`t move into the elite time trialists.
Vandewalle with a really really good ride. So I take this top15!
Impey...lol. Gaining 10 GC positions due to the 22s gap. Brilliant 2nd for him. Congrats froomedog.
Thanks for the reports! |

12th stage victory of the season, 4th GC victory and 3rd for Fiedler, undoubtedly a dream season for a team that was pointed out to the last places..
If the victory from Fiedler can not be considered surprising the 5th place from Barth is something that surprises me a lot and makes me very satisfied. Overall this turns out to be a great race with more than 65PpRD earned.
Impey with a great performance does not reach a surprising victory for very little, froomedog should be quite satisfied..
Thanks for the reports and congrats for those who have done well in this race

Very good TT for us, and good to finally see Fiedler winning.
But, how was that a 29,6k time trial, considering Fiedler's winning time of 17'31?

Really sure it's an error with the preview, as this was the only variant for the race and the ITT was shorter than on the preview for some reason.

This is not good...the used 14km ITT is also giving prologue riders a chance to perform better and riders like Impey obviously the chance to be as high as 2nd in GC afterwards...
Tricky. But a longer ITT should have been used clearly. |

I doubt Kenya will be disappointed with a 2-7 in a HC race they could've scored next to nothing in.
Meanwhile, we are disappointed exactly because of that. And that they benefit from a wrong variant. And that Kärcher at least closed in on us heavily, if not even passed us by now.
Thanks for the reports nevertheless and congrats to Kärcher, can't argue that Fiedler should win this one any day of the week.

Moved the thread (Stage 5) to a hidden place. If that's a 14km TT being used, that's definitely not the way it was meant to be. I won't decide in this case, but better let not too many people read the report until further investigations.

Atttention
Thanks to tsmoha I now got the right stage file. The issue were that I was not given any files prior to reporting, so I had to use the games variant. The stage will be replayed and I will manually calculate the final GC.
Expect the stage out later today and sorry to release false information

Sounds nice, thanks for the reports until here!
One thing that worries me:
Isn't it possible to use the past stage 4 save and play the stage to get the results auto-calculated?
Maybe I misunderstood, but it sounds as if it's planned to play the TT as a single stage!? In that case it may not be an improvement as fatigue doesn't play a role and riders are in a different shape aso. (no position or yellow jersey bonus)

Yeah no yellow jersey bonus isn't great, and the fact that after Impey won the last 2 stages means he's probably the freshest rider in the peloton will be lost.
Meh, would have loved that 2-7. Shame, but I guess it being replayed is the right thing in the end.

This race has been a disaster of epic proportions. Never in the hunt, never in a single sprint and now we have the TT which we are miserable. Hurry end our suffering.
Fixed it for you as you posted in the result. |

Schädlich at least with minimum goal of top5. Seeing that 3 weaker time trialists and in especially Bonnet are ahead of him, it`s still a bit underperforming.
Dumoulin as 8th though surely a couple of spots higher than I had thought. Plus U25 jersey, which definitely is a nice welcome.
Neither Vandewalle nor Frison with very good rides here. But this was never really calculated.
Cruz...just wtf. Miguel will be happy I guess. Just like Bonnet with a definite +5 here.
The depth between 77-79 time trialists was incredible with sooo many riders. Surely some will be really disappointed, when being 10 positions later than another rider with nearly the same stats. But all in between will have those as well. |

Thanks for fixing it, roturn! Lucky Kenya still got a 2nd place then
Glad Fiedler took it. No doubt he should win such races against that competition

Thanks roturn
With your hard work for fixing the last stage, a huge applause to you for doing this
Really confused by the result though, as most of the riders that did well in this TT, didn't do great in my game I promise that none of my future reports will end like this and glad it worked out anyway
Good to see Fiedler winning this one and gratz to Karcher for winning this race
