Nice result for Morton, even though it always hurts to get beaten for a 2nd place that closely. Still a good effort, of course, and some bonifications after his rather lame prologue.

Very nice to get 2nd here on what could have been a risk-stage for Lecuisinier. Too bad we didn’t get the win and lead, but that’s just dreaming.
Very strong effort from Bouglas and Mavrikakis, but very poor show from Bongiorno! He should have been in the front group here really!
Let’s see if Coquard can replicate his win next. Would be perfect.

Wow, fear that's the race done for Galta. That was a lot of time lost. Maybe he can now try to do something earlier on the difficult stages, maybe a mid-stage attack or something to bring some positive vibes to us in this race  |

A convincing ride by Filippo Ganna, that break wasn't far from staying ahead!
Very happy with the KoM points he took, and he hung on very well to take two extra points in the U25, hopefully for another stage as well after that.
I wouldn't mind him being our KoM hunter though with that headstart.
Furthermore, Yuriy Vasyliv making the front group is great! 7th in GC hopefully gives his AI a little boost going into stage 5.
Stüssi a bit behind with a larger GC gap already, but maybe he's breakaway material already now?

Meintjes with a little disappointing result there on stage 3, better positioning and he would've cracked the top 10. Still we are in good shape for a top 10 GC but we probably need stage 5 to be more selective.

Fantastic team performance so far. Vosekalns, Tvetcov and Chiarello all in the front group and we have a nice lead in the team standings. Unlikely to stay that way but status quo is very promising.

Nice break performance by Malecki, grabbing the KoM jersey. In terms of GC we had a terrible stage though.

Not a good stage from my team. Leung keeping yellow couldn't be expected but both Smith and Teklehaimanot losing 2 minutes is awful. However my team seems to not be the only one struck with that fate. Maybe it will indeed open some opportunities for breaks. At least Azman stayed with the first group but he had already los 1 1/2 minutes in the TT.

Poor team performance. Awful in fact. Guess we were just placed too far back. Hope Stake Laengen can bounce back with a break, would at least be good to see the team trying something.

Samolenkov almost did it!
Stage 3 good to see Vorobev in the BotD and probably good that none of my riders were in the first group so they hopefully can go on the attack the rest of the race.

2 for 2 from Coquard. He really should get that result, but we all know that it is highly unlikely...
Last season he also had a perfect tripple-header, and the only irritation is how poorly he performed in the PRL. Still scoring ~ 100 points from this race is really good!

Lovely attempt by Stoltz. Looked very strong and i want to see these attempts more often on flat stages. Hopefully more of that later
