Any reason why Hugentobler decided to skip the Swiss NC's?
I doubt he'd have had much impact on them, especially the TT but it's kinda strange to see him missing considering he was the highest scoring Swiss rider in Swisscom colours in the PT this season and both my team and Swisscom were involved.
Actually the way he's ridden this year he might have had a go at the RR.
Anyway it was a lovely double by Vontobel regardless of his absence, it was nice to see Schurter give it a go in the RR even if it was to no avail.
And that Austrian TT was brilliant, Zoidl seems to have good stats for PCM14 TT's seeing as he had a great run to top 10 the world's being top Austrian there as well as taking the NC Title so judging by form it's definitely a deserved win and maybe even a favourite win for Matt's counter.

Wow, these NC's are awesome!!!
Thanks for the French re-run. Happy to participate and see the same team winning the road race title. Gratz to Ayubowan!
Fonseca had another nice sprint, but started his final punch (as often) from to far behind... at least he was able to beat Demare.
Great racing in Australia and nice to see the most Aussie team winning the titles!
Patrick Lane confirms his nice late season shape by getting 7th pretty much on his own.
Still stunned by the Swiss result. It's so staggering unbelievable to win both titles. Beyond describtion how prestigious these victories are for the team.
Marcel Wyss had a pretty bad time in 2015 and questions were raised about how and if the former leader will be re-signed... OBSOLETE!
Michael Schär by contrast already had a great year winning Tour of Americas prologue and overperforming in almost every ITT he was starting. (quite sure PCM14 fell in love with his statline and secondary stats got a much higher weighting). Nonetheless seeing Cancellara failing so badly seemed out of means.

Congrats to Margh, Vontobel really dominated the Swiss champs. That really hurts to lose those races, but that's pretty much the story of my year so far, how could I be surprised.
Sammy: I thought Hugentobler/Kung would ride for your squad in nats?

@Bushwackers
Kung rode for you but Hugentobler didn't ride for anyone.
I thought riders rode for the side they rode the season for not eth side that owns them unless one of them is inactive as my loaned out Malaysians rode for Meiji and his Japanese riders I loaned in rode for me and my 2 Austrians rode for the side they were loaned to aswell.
I'm not fussed about having it rerun and am happy for the result to stand, I'm just wondering why he was omitted and whether there's a reason for it or if it's a startlist issue.

Sammy:
I just checked the squads I sent in, I did not select Kung or Hugentobler for either team so Kung should not have been in the race. That's a mistake on my part though, I thought the rules said they would ride for their original team so I left them for you.

Hmm, disappointed by our team in Russia, but I'm glad it was favourites winning, so I won't complain.

That's fine mate, I'm not too bothered about the fact he's missing, just wanted to know why he was to try and avoid it for next season or incase it's effected anyone else this year.
As I said earlier, I'm happy for the result to stand without being re-run, seeing him skip the NC's allows me to come up with an HQ post about it at some point, possibly when recapping how they went which will most likely be in the new year dues to how busy I'll be the next couple of weeks.

Hugentobler was meant to be on the startlist for Swisscom as I just changed the team of those Bushwackers said would be in his 2nd team. But this left 9 in the Swisscom team, which wasn't picked up on. The game only allows 8, so 1 rider was randomly cut, and evidently that was Hugentobler.

Oh poop, Taaramae misses out on both national champions.
Very annoying.

Some good reports and even decent racing resulting in nice winners occasionally.
Surely this will be the day you stop avoiding my 5 remaining NC's. Impressed that you have managed to stay away from them for 4 days

5th in the Aussie championship not too bad. Kozontchuk in Russia have had better days though. Really looking forward to the Hong Kong-championship where we hope to win with our future star. Thanks for the report! |

Nice one by Ignatiev in Russian NC, really agressive race and a good 12th place as reward - against that opposition. Though in the ITT I had expected him to go for Top10.

Nice to win the french TT, although not surprising. Also cool to win the Austria RR, he has been a great last minute buy that Eibegger.
