Well deserved win tsmoha. I would never have picked Goss beforehand, so that makes it much cooler. I would have sworn it looked like Trofimov had him beat there, and that would have been really wild.

Congrats to you, tsmoha! And big thanks for the report as well. But...

Howard just became quite interesting for Oz
Well, we will see. But I guess Goss maybe should give Leigh his medal and the jersey for the next year, it was so easy to win it after Howard's amazing lead-out.
And so I guess this happens when Howard is leading-out Goss instead of Bewley... Still happy with at least that 3rd place, that's still a medal result, so that's nice, Bewley will still have likely another oppurtunity to win that jersey. And Howard still finished 10th, nice individual result for him too.

btw I hope Trofimov's performance showed every potential future France selector that there's only one logical captain for that team for years to come...

A cracking finale there to finish off the Worlds in Canadia
Julian David Arredondo, our sole representative, finishing quite far down which was to be expected. Slightly disappointed he didn't go for the breakaway but not everyone can attack.
Congrats to the Aussie team but hopefully Bewley or a non-aussie takes it next year. Great for Tsmoha, enjoy your rider being in the prestigious Rainbow Jersey!

Wow, congrats tsmoha! Good report and a stunning photo-finish on the line. Cool to have the world champion in Australasia. I hope it will stay on this continent for many years to come
Not been the best Worlds for Russia unfortunately, they have been so staggering close both here and in the TTT. |

Congrats Tsmoha! Great sprint by Goss and a I guess the reason you didn't get the perfect picture was that you were screaming at the screen during the sprint. Well deserved for you to get the world champ after a fantastic season, both from your team and from you doing reports.
Still, it would be fitting for Trofimov to be world champ, he's like the ultimate mangame rider, and topping of this season by winning the world champs would've been great.
German sprint train dissapointed me, might be that Sieberg falling left them one man short of the planned train? I was really looking forward to a train that consisted of both Sieberg and Kluge, 2 riders with great early leadout stats. In general bad leadout trains, wth was Italy doing? Everyone going for themself... (That might actually be realistic...)
Cio: I hope that the first year Demare is maxed it will be a mountain WC, then the next year a cobble one, just cause you want him to lead ;-)

Gossy Gossy Gossy! What an amazong upset. I really enjoyed that, while Guerao managed to fuck up once more. Big congrats to everyone who got a medal, I am pretty happy with Tzortzakis' bronze in the B Worlds.

Thanks for another fine read, tsmoha and gratz for training the worlds best rider.
Would've loved to see a Swiss contender in the break, though the results aren't disappointing at all. Marcel Wyss (28th) and Martin Kohler (33th) are well within their means.

Holloway just capped a great season with a very solid result. I don't think the USA has the riders to win that race but I'm happy to see that murrica is getting closer. USA will have a well rounded team in the years to come. Support riders will be the tricky bit.

Congratulations to tsmoha! Well deserved win.
Not the best championships for my riders. Except for in the U23 RR, where Di Bie were amongst the first riders in the peloton, they were mostly invisible. Oh well, new chance next year!

All in all I shouldn't complain about the total results for this, I got a World Champion in Haugard, still... I can't stop thinking about "what should have been" in the U23 RR though
Tsmoha, I said it earlier; great reports!
To everyone getting a World Champion, congrats!

Just like in real though, this is still quite an unpredictable sport. At least very often. So while I agree with you that Zabel should have won this (and more importantly Krieger getting bronze ) I think it`s good that not always the best rider wins.
But I admit, that Zabel won far too less in U23 races. And Frison won far too much already. |

Great report that. Congrats tsmoha. Happy to see another champion from my focus area, with Matthews very much involved in the drama there.

I bet you were thrilled when you witnessed that result, tsmoha! Guess the Aussies woke up on the right side in Canada!
Thanks for the coverage of the world champs, you have done a crazy amount of races season, coming from someone who feels they have done a massive amount, so it is great to see this success for Oz riders. |

Great reports throughout the WCs, thanks to all involved. Bit of a shame Italy and GB basically sucked, but hey ho, there's always next season...
