I don't think we ever talked in transfers, but I always admired your team from afar.
All the best in the future!

Just like I said to Croatia, this mustn't have been an easy decision, and yet another big loss for the MG. Like others have said, if you leave because of you thinking you're not active (enough) and somebody else deserves the PT spot more, I'd love to have you reconsider your decision. I do think you're rather active, and maybe turning your team into something new might even be a fun challenge as well. Of course, if you're out of juice, you're out of juice, and I think we all respect the decision of you quitting the MG after a long and beautiful career. All the best

Another disband we didn't see coming! This is a big loss to MG. You had a great team to follow and it's sad to see you go.

Well, not much more I can say.
Milan-San Remo was my first report, and it was an honour to witness Pedersen's win

First of all: I want to thank you all for your comments. They really meant a lot to me.
It's been three weeks here at the Grieg-Maersk HQ, after we told to world that the team looked set to stop. During those weeks, I've come to the realisation that I still feel that I can contribute to the game and still want to be a part of the game. Seeing the Skype group pop up again on my phone, with all the messages around new managers, who are leaving or not, made my see that this isn't a community I want to opt out of.
I realise this comes late, with some off-season work already starting. I also don't hope that those who are unsure if they will promote or not due to disbandments, will see this a big turn around on their plans.
But now I want to state that our wish is to continue after all. I've already spoken briefly to roturn about this and understand that it won't be a big issue with the timeline for the rest of the off season.
We've reached most of our goals, but we still have some left. The triple MSR, RvV and Roubaix is of course the big dream. The more realistic is perhaps the RvV and Roubaix. We will keep our focus and hopefully we can have some good years ahead of us.

I never thought I'd be this happy to lose my chance to sign Mads Pedersen.

(a bit too long since the last HQ post here )
With the newly crowned world champion in the squad, we are happy to announce that we've completed a successful renewals period.
We've decided to let go of Nelson Oliveira and Metkel Kiflay, both after one season in the team.
The team still looks to be heavily focused around our Mads Pedersen and Mads Würtz, with especially Würtz showing an unbelievable consistency throughout the year.
At the same time, it's clear that there's plenty of other parts of the that can be strengthened, which will be the main focus of the transfer season.
Rider | Age | OVL | Wage | Availability | Mads Pedersen | 29 | 80,17 | 700 000 € | - | Mads Würtz | 30 | 79,69 | 680 000 € | - | Rasmus Tiller | 28 | 76,85 | 190 000 € | ** | Jonas Vingegaard | 28 | 75,34 | 110 000 € | ** | Aime De Gendt | 30 | 75,17 | 95 000 € | ** | Samuel Ssabagwanya | 30 | 74,84 | 90 000 € | ***** | Andreas Stokbro | 27 | 74,82 | 100 000 € | ** | Sigurd Nesset | 33 | 74,64 | 100 000 € | *** | Niklas Larsen | 27 | 74,56 | 75 000 € | * | Amund Grondahl Jansen | 30 | 74,37 | 70 000 € | ** | Trond Hakon Trondsen | 30 | 74,24 | 65 000 € | ** | Jonathan Lastra | 31 | 74,22 | 60 000 € | ***** | Benjamin Brkic | 28 | 74,16 | 60 000 € | *** | Dries Van Gestel | 30 | 74,03 | 60 000 € | ** | Nils Eekhoff | 26 | 73,81 | 50 000 € | ** | Morten Hulgaard | 26 | 73,24 | 65 000 € | ** | Tushantha Rajapakshage | 32 | 73,21 | 60 000 € | *** | Truls Engen Korsaeth | 31 | 72,35 | 50 000 € | ** | Stanislau Bazhkou | 33 | 72,08 | 60 000 € | *** | Michael Valgren Andersen | 32 | 71,92 | 50 000 € | ** | Tore Andre Vabo | 26 | 69,8 | 50 000 € | ** |

Unsurprising availability list, will be interesting to see how you operate this transfer window and how the Madss get trained in the end. Hope that Pedersen will have a better season for you next year

Good to see that it's the final potential training year for Würtz
Your leading Mads duo still looks amazing, even though Pedersen had a rather disappointing year. If he does a Wisniowski-like 2024, your team should be a Top 10 contender as-is, let's see where you can get if you spend those about 700k of remainin wage cap wisely!
I don't think we'll be in touch a lot, but if the budget permits I might inquire on your Austrian, would be a good fit for us in terms of nationality, versatility and even age
