I´m not gonna lie looks weird not seeing "Volvo acc. by Spotify" behind Tobias Ludvigsson in the resultlist, of course he beat every of our riders aswell
But anyway a good 5th by Tanfield here! |

Quite some time lost by Dombrowski there.

Great result by million dollar man Tobias Ludvigsson! Basically paid it all off that way.

Must admit I hoped and expected slightly better for Kwiatkowski considering his PRL stat and how that affects shorter time trials. Must have been on a bad day, which we'll take if it means he gets the good days on the hilly stages. But obviously this adds pressure for those stages, as there won't be room for missteps here if he's going to make a good GC from this. Fingers crossed we get selections on the hilly stages! |

Chun Wing Leung I never said anything bad about you!
Finally his first win for me after he had a couple for Porto in his PT loan out season (including P-N prologue as noted in the report). I hope he can hang on another day. Teklehaimanot also with a strong prologue, Smith and Azman unfortunately not so much, especially the latter. But with the win that doesn't matter that much

Also Leung is here again for the prologue but he’ll have a bad day there again so not really worth the mention.
Jinxed that one! Congrats
Now I know what motivates him
I agree prologues (tts in general probably) are just really random. It's hard to expect anything even if having one of the strongest candidates. |

A nice Top 30 for Pelikan! Jungels too, but always gotta hope that he could benefit from a high daily form and do better in one of these.
Godoy is no TT fan, but I feel like 165th is quite below par for him.

Cool to see Leung back to winning ways. He was a really fine addition to the squad at the time. Hope he finds good legs to make this win profitable. Congrats, mate!

Looking forward for what's to come here! Let's hope it's all about the breakaways |

Decent enough start for Meintjes, will be difficult for us to get a top 10 overall, but that's the aim...

We're lucky we had the first rider off the ramp, otherwise there would be no TV time for us

Congrats SotD! Best sprinter wins is always nice to see!
For my team this was unfortunately not that great. 6th as clearly 2nd best sprinter a bit below expectations.
First I was happy that my team indeed went without a train and he was in a decent position but then never started to sprint until it was too late...not his best performance.
One more chance to show his skills. |

Matic Groselj shows his potential to take the white jersey
This race has already exceeded my expectation
I wish that was the case in races that count

Finally!
Too bad Coquard managed to fuck up the prologue to an extend where a difference og 3 PRL costed him 25 seconds. If he would have just stayed within 19 seconds the race would have been spot on by now.
Oh well, a win is great! And just 2-3 more to go and a GC win for the race to be spot on my prediction.

Not a huge points haul, but these are the types of results I am hoping to get with Hayakawa. Consistent Top 10's are better than nothing. Congrats SotD

Terrible prologue with both Chavanne and Stoltz disappointing far below their expectations. However the second stage was good with Liepins sprinting to a strong 4th place. Notable also Stoltz who performed better in a mass sprint than in a prologue. Somehow
Hoping to see my trio of Vosekalns, Tvetcov and Chiarello aggressive in the mountains later on in the race.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

A shame about Jakobsen narrowly missing the top 10 but nice to see Leung sprinting as well to get some points for the green jersey so he leads there for another day as well.
I don't think he will defend the GC lead one more stage, but maybe it will mean my team is placed well so Azman can show himself in the upcoming hilly stage! |

Can tell this is going to be a bad race for Quintana. He's not the best MO/HIL rider, but he should be doing a bit better than that.
