Milos 39th in a Prologue isn't too bad. I really hope he makes a decent go at this and manages to finish somewhere in the Top 15/20 as that would give him a great base for next season!

Nils for Schomber (sorry) to have a stay in the hotseat and 20th is pretty average but yeah Jams 25th is good and Cheung also in the top 40. Roll on the breakaways!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Wow! PCM is broken! Massive success and we're barely out the starting gates as Prado wins the prologue and Kasperkiewicz takes his first proper podium! Couldn't be happier with this race no matter what happens on the remaining stages.
Thanks for the report jph!

lel. PCM starts to make less sense every day. Race for the 'VisitLöbau p/b Netia, n-Out to Costa Rica' team is a great success already, now just a few breaks to really make it worth remembering
To be fair the 'n-Out to Costa Rica' bit are loaned out Netia riders.

Great to see this running, thank you, jph27 for the report!
Holst Enger with a solid start. A second place would be great, but seemed like he didn't have the hundredths on his side. Still, fourth place is decent, and hopefully he can even do better in the two upcoming sprint stages. |

Aand one chance to leave a mark on the race is already gone, with Beyer and Boudat only just a few seconds below par. But that's how it goes in a 3 kms prologue.

Streets of Ajaccio looking a little less busy then last time I was there. Hope the riders enjoy the 16 hour transfer.

Tremendous ride by Soren there for 11th. he definitely has a future in prologues.
Overall just hoping to see the couple of guys I have here stay int he excitement and have a good time. Soren isn't even mine technically anyway but I like to think we've adopted him.

Nice try by Bonifazio, but a stage win has to come from a breakaway here.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Seid at least trying to sprint...
Farantakis still in the top 10's but I expect him to drop dramatically when we start the 2-3% climbs
Thank you so much for racing this jph! |

Wow, amazing work by the team doing a perfect leadout for Holst Enger. Guess it was Bengtsson and Kragh doing wonders in the final kilometers?
And thrilled to see him take the win, hopefully he and the team can continue in a similar way on the remaining flat stages, fighting for stage wins.
Thank you for the report, jph27. For obvious reasons a very enjoyable one |

Just outside of the points on those stages, would've liked a little bit better but that's just minor things.

Forgot about time bonuses, thought we could hold the yellow jersey in the team for a bit. At least this means we might get a shot at some breaks before the mountains.
Thanks for the report jph!

Great win for Scandinavia! Nice to see Bengtsson as the last leadout man and grabbing 11th place!

No idea what Jabrayilov was up to in the prologue, but I don't mind Not expecting anything else from this race in any case.

Stage 1: Vasyliv 1:0 Herklotz
Stage 2: To whoever doubted that developing Aksel Nommela would be a waste: You're proven wrong. Even on level one he seems that he has that positioning that neither Mezgec or any other has...
What a great and unexpected finish, I-Gen - Adriatic starting great on terrain we were not expected to be strong, me gusta! Can't wait for the climbs if we can hold the form #VasylivforAvenir2016
