Not a bad start as the climb wasn't really selective enough to suit Garby, but we stayed in the front group and snagged white off the bat. Happy with the start. TTT might be bad though.

Good first stag by Martinez, now let's see if we can limit our loss in the team time trial.

Dissapointing
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Congrats Isostar! Also good to see Nieve do well on the stage.

Kraftwerk have a top 5 goal here so very pleased to see Hacecký in 6th with a few seconds on 7th. Its going to be tough to crack the top 5 but I am hopeful his backup stats can get him there.
Looking for our TT guys Bontenackels and Gerdemann to help Hacecký limit his losses during the TTT as his TT is not too good.

Rather see a better climber than Mandri attacking.
No idea what to expect from the TTT.

Interesting stage, gap between Tvetcov and Sella is for sure negligible, so not much changes really. Tvetcov seems to have a better team for ttts than Anton, if he keeps that shape I think he should be considered the top favorite.
Congrats Croatia though, and thanks, as usual, to trek for the great report.

Was hoping for a podium or better and the early parts of the report got my hopes up
Salinas up but not as much as hoped - he'll have to go even further than his Middle East comeback to save this race for us

Two 2nd places in 2 stages for cycle Yorkshire, and Tvetcov couldn't have wanted a better result there to place himself 1st in the GC. His advantage on Anton and Sella isn't too big, but if he keeps performing like stage 1 he can do it.
Great stage for Kraftwerk tho!

Not bad performance for the team - 4th in the stage and Nieve is close to the podium. The next stages will be decisive

The stage went as expected, minus the breakaway attempt. Going to be a disappointing race I think

I am not amused about this stage...this could (should) have been much more...
the only good thing about this stage is that we gained time on Sella, but looking at how this was achieved I can't be happy about that...

That was actually a little more time loss than I was expecting. Looks like the win is out of our grasp now.

nah, it's easy to take a minute on mountains like these...hopefully Anton and Garby can work together there

Congrats Dave2Bob, hope Hacecky isnt a threat but I think everything else went to plan with the other big favourites losing time. With Tvetcov in the leaders jersey and him already looking strong on stage 1, I hope he can take advantage and win the race. But in all truths, a podium would be just as good for the points!
