Whether to send Klemme to Benelux was my trickiest planning choice. I reviewed some past editions and puncheurs with cobbles stats in the 60s have done well.
But Klemme's cobbles are appalling so he could loose years on that stage.
After agonising over the decision, what swung it was I want to find out!
Hope this makes it an interesting race to report

This is the first test for my team, who has been put into the bottom of the prediction charts

Got Krieger for stage wins, whilst Ngandamba and Bille have an outside chance of producing something but not expecting much. Looking at stage wins over GC...
Thanks for the preview trek

Mygind with a sneaky top 10 but bad result for De Maar considering he was 15th in the prologue last year which helped set him up for the win.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Navardauskas 5th. 4 places ahead of Yatsevich so can't complain.
Hope that Pozzato and Navardauskas mix it up in the sprint on stage 2

That stage didn't follow the script. Youngster Soler beating his team leader by 13 seconds and got a surprise top 15.

No focus on time trials, would rather have it be a lottery

Davison overperformin and getting a solid top 10, Diggle decent. OK start
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

wrong guess
Yatsevich getting wrecked is a good and a bad sign at the same time...it shows that he´s beatable, but at the same time great back-ups don´t same to mean too much in TTs, which is a shame for Tennant - could kill my various Top5 TT goals...

Good to see Würtz relatively high up in the rankings, together with our former rider William Walker. Another surprising winner in a TT... Seeing as I only have second tier time trialists myself, I guess it's a good thing though Congrats to the_hoyle on the win!

Shame that my sprinters weren't able to finish within 10 seconds of Bille. Would've been nice to have a chance at grabbing the leader jersey in the sprint tomorrow.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

Yeah, investing on time trials at lower levels in PCM is one huge gamble that is bound not to pay off - and I say so myself, keep in mind TTers might break my season just like they pretty much 2/3 made my CT season

What a fantastic performance by Geschke, I call that domination. Congrats Paul!
Shame for the guys getting wrecked in crashes, especially seeing 2 major guys in Bush and Pozzato already far behind in the GC.

Yep, what a loss to see Pozzato out of the GC contention like that, but glad De Maar made it at least. Really unlucky for Ferrero.
Congrats Paul, Geschke seems set to have a good season.

Quite unlucky to see so many GC riders out.
Biggest name next to Pozzato surely Naesen, who could have done well here. Seems in genereal that weirdly the cobbled riders got hit. De Haes, Bush, Naesen, Pozzato.
Sprinterwise this was difficult as they had to go early to catch the break, this way preparing it to the 2nd row.
While Krieger belongs to the unlucky sprinters, former rider Geschke with a fantastic win on perfect terrain for him. |

De Haes crashing twice, hoping he'll be OK by the cobbles stage again. Manarelli leading for a little while was nice and I'll take fourth for now. Kinney also nice at the front.
Thanks for the report and congrats Geschke
