I think this will suit the hilly guys, I really am not sure that a cobbled stat will be worth much.
Wyss I guess or Kolobnev I think could take this.

Hoping for another great race by Marcel Wyss, but found it hard to predict whilst planning. It's one of two races this season Wyss and Schär both attend. Guess the cobbles aren't too crucial, but don't wanna got caught flat-footed.

What a great stage for Nordeus with 3rd, 6th and 7th place! I am more than happy with this.

Goddamn it of course Ostergaard falls behind. Well that's it then. plus Rasmussen as there but didn't sprint. The race is already a failure.

Strong Azteca result here.
And nice to see my former riders Iglinski and Velits in the sprint. |

Perfection by Azteca in the leadout, although very lucky to get away with a win, Duque impressive.
Feel sorry for TomTomTom, Duggan having another unlucky race.
Ahh, we actually, almost got a normal sprint

Happy to see our names all over the front. Kudos to Mayho for jumping in the break.

A shame for Uugunbayar, he was positioned so great, but failed so hard.. |

Aargh! With Kolobnev already behind, this is likely 6 RD's wasted for our team leader. Other than Beltran bright spot on last stage of Tachira, been a complete disaster since the excellent start on day 1 of the season .

Decent start from Sutton that. A pity about Bugge, but both him and De Haes should have good chances on taking a stage later on..

...well this is awkward...
Was not supposed to be Duque winning the stage... but happy to get my first win of the season. Looks like the depth that all the preview guys were talking about did pay off.
Love my leadout train when it forms, just completely took everyone else out of the race (including Farrar).
Happy to be in the leaders jersey, but very concerned about how my team might ride tomorrow, would like to keep it slow enough that Millan can get over the climbs and mix it up in a sprint.

Some strong riders are already out of the GC race. Luckily, neither of Saramotins/Dupont is.
I hope to see Bissinger attacking soon after getting 6 minutes on the peleton today. Could get some free space for successful attacks.
Congrats to Azteca, very strong team result.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Vitoria again with a decent performance on 16, while Gajek keeps on failing spectacularly. Pity about Matzka but he was never going for the GC anyway so maybe now he has some freedom on the cobbled stages.

If Bole can get this type of result in a "flat" classified stage (though not pancake flat), he's going to be an absolute monster in the individual rankings I think.
Barring breakaways

Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Nice to see Alaphilippe already producing points for Nordeus, impressive ride after he was the first lead out for Bole. Nice stage for your team.
Congrats to the winner!
