I love to see SanCor doing great, they kind of have a Novo Nordisk flair for me sadly the last stage won´t fit Marquez, but let´s dream of a podium...
Cheers!
Unfortunately we just came a few seconds short of the podium. But I think we did quite well here. We were represented in about half the breaks with Sivori and Biondo, for starters.
Taking a fourth place is good, but I admit the podium would've been so much better. But Marquez tried his best and I really can't complain.
Taking the Team Classification came as a huge surprise and shows that we are not just the loser team in PCT, but the BEST TEAM IN THIS RACE!

Good to finally get in a succesfull break! Last minute signing Visconti gives us back from his experience and those 20 points right there might be extremely important in the end of the season when it comes to relegating or staying up.
Congrats to lovely SanCor for best team and brilliant performance as well as Machado at Porto-Prio coming here to take the win as planned. Martin with some good attacks and surely leaves here with high confidence.
Feel very sorry for Ayubowan! though, with massive unluck throughout the stage race. I am sure you will come stronger back mate!
And finally thanks to roturn wich has lead us through this long stage race in an amazing pace and done so with high quality reports. Much appreciated! |

I was worried Alizadeh could loose some spots due to his low hillstat, so attacking was the right idea and gives us another top 10. In total the race was about as good as it could be expected. Thanks roturn for all these great reports. |

Pipped just at the end to the coveted top 5 position and thus failing our goal, but we can still be super-pleased with this race as I didn't think Chamorro would get anywhere close (and there's no shame in being beaten by Ricco) and we've registered our first, and hopefully not last, victory of the season.
Thank you for the reports roturn, not only delivered at high speed but also excellent in quality and good reads

Great race roturn, thank you for this pace! It turned out close to what was predicted with Ricco a little disappointing. Congratulations Gustavovskiy on the win.

First off all congratulations Gustav! Machado looks better than last year already and I'm still sure your team will compete for the Top 10. Nice reports too and a good race to follow

That there will be disappointment was inevitable looking at the talent-packed field of GC-contenders on one hand and the tiny Tachira podium on the other.
We were lucky and got more than compensated by Appollonio winning early and Wöhrer shining late.
Gratz to Gustav! Well-earned victory though it was a tense fight till the end.
Thanks roturn for the amazing speed and quality of posted reports!

Congrats Gustav! It seemed like a bit of a risk sending Machado here but it definitely paid off for you. And also great to see Compal get a win so early in the season - Congratulations!
Thanks for the reports roturn, they were great to read.

Wow Rodrigues with another great performance here, really impressive for a rider with such stats.
Machado doing well here (obsv) with minimum support here, fair enough but could been an even better race for him with a better team.
Martin also making the race worthile for the irish lads here, the same cant be said for Ricco though. Auboewen probably with an even worse result here, hopefully Pinot will perform at his actual level soon, even without the crash he was dissapointing.
Congrats to Porto and Vontobel especially, great race for both! Thanks for the entertaining reports aswell

Big thank you to Roturn for a superbly covered race.
We had some great moments in that race, Flores' 1st win & a nice attack by Talansky to show he was the best out of the bunch on stage 10. However, moments are just what they were and that won't be enough to avoid going down ... town. |

Good to see that Machado seems to have recovered from last season's troubles. Nice win! Congrats Gustav.
