Good result from Bookwalter with a top 10, didn't expect that. Congrats to Avin as well, Pluchkin delivers again. |

Never forget
Madrazo kinda shit. I pity Spain, they will work the whole RR for a rider that can't win it at the end, poor guys.

Pretty much an expected podium. Congratulations, Avin! If Pluchkin goes on and takes the RR as well now, it would be true perfection.
Decent from Stake Laengen to get 25th place as our only participant.
Thank you for the report, sgdanny! |

Crazy season from Pluchkin. Especially seeing that he's a favourite for the RR as well...

WTF is wrong Pliuchkin?! True that the two biggest contenders in Tenorio and Phinney are missing, but still!
Gratz Avin, okay season for Alexander so far..
And btw, people are still complaining over that Bewley guy ?

Gratz to Avin and tsmoha for the ITT wins!
Hoped Cancellara could've been better the last year he's probably competitive. Though the chosen terrain already made it a challenging task.
Remarkable result by Zoidl, he really used the demanding route to his favour.
In U23 Théry Schir stayed in his means. Planned to stay closer to Kung, but the fellow Swissman seems well-prepared for the days in South Africa.
Thanks for the reports to danny and the hoyle!

Came here to complain about Zmorka only getting bronze, but i dont find the course being bad now.
3rd is nice anyway for a pure flat chrono guy, he will have to win senior TT in the future after missing the U23 title.
Pluchkin though, unbeatable.
The rainbow double would be cool and probably the best season from stage racer ever possible. You can do it Aleksandr.
Ignatiev was shit though and Trofimov should have been here for Russia.
Thanks for all the congrats guys! And for the report.

The expected average race performance from Quaade.
Congrats Avin, Pluchkin is really having a great season. Cheering for him now in the Road Race as well. |

Nah, crap ITT course. Testers get next to nothing anyway and here they get this taken away from them as their are no flat roads in this godforsaken wasteland.
Checked for SotD rage post... c'mon you tetchy Danish viking give me some rage
Sad moment for Fab to finish so low - now Sparticus you have led your brave troops against the tyranny of the mighty Festinus and Vesuvious empires but alas it is now time to either die on your sword or pawn yourself to the backwater arenas (CT or PCT), you work under the emblem of the shining light of the bull is done - goodbye you magnificent bastard.
Talking of Roma we have that trio at the head. Pou pou Pluchkin, The Bastard Bewley and the soon to be unattached then filthy rich Ulissi in the sky with diamonds. If RR goes to the rest of the year Most to the few and scraps to the rest, Pou Pou will take the RR, hogging all the precious metals. Rather like the flatnose Voldermort lookalike Phinney a few years back.

Pluchkin is a beast... What a season.
A TT to forget for Viennet, but kinda expected given the tough course. |

Thanks sgdanny and the_hoyle for the reports, and congrats to the almighty Pluchkin.
Bookwalter finishing in the top 10 is a good result in Phinney's absence. The fact that no American participated in the U23 race is not a good sign

I agree, the route was not good. I don't like it when the ITT is won by the riders likely to battle for the RR win also.
I have nothing to rage about. I knew that Coppel wouldn't be competitive on a route like this after seeing the U23 race, and I said several places that this was Pluchkin's to lose. Spilak getting 2nd is just like the rest of his season. He isn't called 2pilak for nothing
But seriously. Another medal is fine... One gold and two silver medals so far. And I have a shot at getting a medal in the final two races aswell. Can't complain.
I would prefer having the U23 RR winner over the Elite RR, but I would be happy taking both
Thanks for the report, and congrats to Metinvest for another great Pluchkin win
