Well Bewley gained 3 seconds on Swift last year who has 1 prl stat less and 1 acc stat less, while Dege has got 2 acc points less and 4 prl points less. I don't see the Kiwi making up 18 secs tomorrow so I guess Dege is pretty much guaranteed the win!
Interesting stage that though, not such an unrealistic break win when the break was so strong. Bit less realistic to see Bewley and Degenkolb gain 21 secs attacking with less than 2? kms to go... Congrats to ember though, surely should have hurt how so many riders performed much better than a rider you trained heavily.

Finally a decent result, Fiedler in the top 10 is the best of the season so far.
For the TT the aim is clearly to win and Fiedler entry in the GC top 10

Although not by very realistic way, this is exactly what I needed to be done. Swift is gone, only Bewley remains within reach. But I don´t see he´d be capable to beat Degenkolb by such big margin in 3,5km long epilogue. I better wait with celebration though
Congrats ember, very nice win here!

I have a feeling I'll get pissed about TT results in several occasions this year.
Gratz beagle!

Congrats Beagle for the win. I think you now have the strongest MG sprinter in your team. So we'll deserved win.
1 Stage and 3rd in GC is a success even though it was the absolute minimum and more was hoped. Wonder when we will see the first Aegon train and if it has more success.
Thanks for the steady and nice to read reports! |

Delighted. Cav 4th on GC with good solid results throughout the race and Lasse Norman managed a really respectable 7th on the day and 13th Overall (2nd Youth). Great stuff from these two, really useful bank of points in the early days, hope this can give us some early momentum.
Congrats to beagle.
Decent race for Greig - Eftel btw, everyones favs for relagation.

Relatively good race for us indeed, Smowz, but not something I reckon we'll se too often!
Guarnieri climbing up the one spot in GC as I was expecting, and then a Great performance from my two TT'ers. Was worried Howson was injured after his crash and further drops in GC. Dempster also doing way more than I expected
Thanks for some great reports, sgdanny, and congrats to beagle with a well deserved win!
Edit: Autocorrect changed Dempster to semester....

Thank you for the quick reporting, sgdanny. And with roturn keeping Tachira at two reports each day, it feels like the season is off to a flying start.
Kristoff going well outside the GC top 20 was expected, and there's no doubt Golas was the highlight for us in this race. Hopefully this wasn't a sign of what to expect from Kristoff in the sprints the rest of the season, then his training will just look silly
Congratulations on the overall win, beagle. As roturn writes, Degenkolb could very well be the best sprinter in the game now. No better way to show it than winning Qatar! |

Yeah that was horrible for us. No one in the top 20 really falls below expectations.
Thanks for the reports sgdanny. |

Thanks guys for congratulations!
It has been my fifth participation here in Qatar, 3 times Pokerstars´ rider took victory (2x Boonen and now Degenkolb) and 2 times we finished 3rd (Mohs & Degenkolb). I could hardly find more suitable race for my team
Thanks sgdanny for your perfect work. Congratulations to SotD to partial success in this in other respects miserable race for him. I believe Roman and roturn can be also satisfied with overall podium.
And now onto cobbles!

Thanks sgdanny, very nice reports. Congrats beagle!
The less said about this race the better. 52nd and 53rd were our two best riders.

Pretty amazed we hung on for 5th in the GC.
I'm pretty sure we'll never manage to equal this performance in any PCT race, so too bad we don't get the points here.
Congrats beagle and thanks for the great reports sgdanny!

Came here with extremely modest expectations, so Gretsch grabbing 14th in GC with a strong final TT performance is a pleasing result.
Congrats to beagle and thanks for the solid reporting, danny!

Good that Van Stayen just defended bis GC result vs all those TTers. Makes it an okayish race for me. Had hoped for more especially from Stoltz or Chavanne but also VS wasn't completely satisfying. I hope he performs better when one or two rivals are going for another race / when there are a few more speedbumps.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Seeing the TT result makes me worry for the Coppel TTs, but this time it went my way and I'm very happy with that. There's just one point in difference afterall.
Vlatos winning a stage is a dream come true. He was with me during his development and to have two greeks who have won Pro Tour stages is pretty cool...
9th GC is nice aswell, but Im still annoyed that 6/8 of my riders lost time due to a crash, and Bernaudeau lost time on stage 5, otherwise this could have been a very good race. Next season I should not bring Tzortzakis unless Coquard is trainee better han him.
Thanks for the reports. Im looking forward to the more balanced races to see whether or not this version is better than the previous. So far it seems to be almost the same, but with a bit more randomness... Whether you like that or not is subjective I guess.

Congrats beagle!
I hope the touch of green on the jersey will be very important when it comes to sprints this year
Also two surprise winner on those last stages congrats, SotD and ember!
Or maybe Vlatos was not that big of a surprise his stats was better then I thought, |

I'm going to take a stab at it and say we are currently last in the PT rankings.
