Meh. Just outside the podium yet again, not what I was hoping for. Expect Trofimov to take the lead back in the TT. EBH lost 30 seconds to him on that stage last yeat, so hopefully not anymore than that.
Than that last stage is the one he won last year, so fingers crossed.
Bakelants with a very good race here. Congrats on getting the win, Shonak. Will be interesting to see far behind Trofimov he will be after the TT.

Good try from Umerbekov again, and Waeytens didn't lose too much time for once. Thanks for the steady reporting!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That was a great stage from Beltran, being able to be part of the front group and even finding the right wheels in the sprint. They're small points, but at least it's some encouraging racing
Well he's even doing a decent race aside from that. He's got only 82+ puncheurs ahead of him, so no room for complaints in my eyes!?
I'm not sure if I'm following... As said in my comments during the race, the first hilly stage was worrisome and disappointing, then the second hilly stage was much better and good, and then I write that this was a great stage. Don't quite see where the complaints over his last two performances are |

TVG takes the reins to start the final climb and nearly caps the day with a win. As much as I want to win, the consistency of TVG in hilly stages is fantastic, especially when facing guys that on paper should beat him.

Ulissi better overtake Rolland in the GC before the final TT, otherwise he will have had a worse performance than fucking TDU.

Good luck Ulissi, you got a harsh manager (next stage is tt).
Too bad Trofimov lost the leader jersey, hopefully he will get it back tomorrow. Still keeping it to the end is looking almost impossible now. Fingers crossed.

Sagan's sprint stat clearly needs some improvement. Congrats to Shonak!

150 Zico Waeytens
I'm giving up on him. Worst investment ever.
All I can do now is hope for a succesfull breakwaway on the last stage
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That was a great ride from Eddy! His best day by a big margin so far in this race. Trofimov with another good ride, but he's still within range before the final day. Just hope EBH can copy what he did last year now.
Atkins also with a positive result and Watson back in white. Hopefully he can keep that after tomorrow's stage.

A stage win could have helped Bobridge to give me at least slightly positive feelings about him in this race. 2nd is still not as shabby as his previous performances here though. 7th in GC is still too less and of course I don't expect him to do well in the final stage..
Ahhhh, I am so negative about this race. But I guess I am allowed to be
Trofimov giving Bobridge a few lessons here. Congrats, Oleg.

Viviani!! He decided to completely 180° last year's season start and therefore follows up a huge performance at the Continentals with this one. Wow. Very impressed by Rolland too, who is still in the top 30.
Thanks Abhishek!

If the constant leader changing is any indication EBH will win the race
Gratz to Oleg, Trofimov in prime position now. I hope that Bakelants turns up his attacking and maybe can snatch enough on the ultimate climb. Today was a solid ride by him. Hansen also did well, and Pichon still in 12th in GC. That said, I'd be content with a podium place as well. Team classification looks also really good, and maybe it's enough for us to win the point classification. I hope we don't mess it up on the last day and the race will end on a great note for us.
Thanks for the report, Abi.
