Brilliant stuff from Pokerstars, congratulations beagle! Seems like only Bewley can threaten Degenkolb thinking of the GC, which is somewhat surprising. The third podium spot seems up for grabs for many riders, especially if Swift can't do better than what he has done so far in the sprints.
Nice to have Ringheim in the breakaway, always good to see the jersey in front. |

This is becoming embarrassing, the team is not able to do anything right.
I know that my riders do not have a good flat stat but still expected a lot more, they could at least try to participate in the breaks

Another quiet day. Would be nice to see us get into a break but I'm now resigned to just waiting for the TT. Congrats Beagle on a great race for Pokerstars so far. |

Degenkolb, what a beast! Especially with that sprint train. Congrats beagle, what a great decision to train him in the off-season.
Quite decent result from Bewley again. Another podium result, at least. Decent stage results for Howard, Vesely and Gough too. Nice to get a sprint train in every stage. A win in this race would be excellent though. Especially when looking forward to the final battle in the TT.
Thanks for the report, great stuff.

Seems like Vantomme doesn't like the wind, but the team keeps him well-placed anyway, leading Sobota to actually be stronger than him. Another 2 riders in the top 10 is amazing though, I can't believe how our team are performing here, love seeing our team chase and make a train for some reason.
Degenkolb is really strong here, gratz beagle.

Back to decent from Guarnieri. Looks good for a top 10 in GC at least, but kind of depressing seeing Vantomme with a train every day here. Plenty of good riders around Guarnieri, especially Rowe, who could have ensured that he didn't get blocked like today. The trains seems just pure random though...
Congrats to Roturn on finally getting the win!

These leadouts though, good to see Swifty finally delivering!
Will be an interesting finale to this race.

And finally a stage I can like a lot !
Dzamastagic is a great choice for the break and he wasn't too far away from getting really dangerous and great sprint by Van Stayen.
Chavanne still only lost bonus seconds which is great for a possible GC result

Not a perfect leadout by Pokerstars and Swift takes the win, it's almost like you'd think his points will depend on the Germans fails. Hopefully not for roturn though.

Swift is back in business there. Really big relief really for roturn as this is number one stage race for Swifty.
Not happening for Bewley which is a set back for his hopes of absolute domination this year.
Needless to say I am delighted with Cav again, really showing good consistency. Exactly what I was looking to upgrade from after Guerao rubbish last year. Barring disaster he should be able to hold a top 5 position and if Bewley screws up again on next stage there is a chance of a podium which would be a massive boost.
Swift/Bewley still need time on Degenkolb and I suppose I have to factor a freak Cav stage win on last road stage as an outside threat to the Moustached one... but that really would be in dream land.

Well it is almost like that when the train doesnt work you dont win. Sad for Pokerstars that they dont win.

Can't believe we got a podium!
I guess it's just the luck of PCM with Vantomme having good form on stage 1 and getting a train every other day from the GC position after that, still great though.
Congrats Roturn on finally getting a win, seems Swift worked out which train to follow.

Kristoff back in the top 10, which is decent. Great to see Swift still knows his thing, eventhough he has changed team. Congratulations, roturn! |
