All managers with top-top hilly riders going 'Oh, should have picked this race...'
Even more so when EBH sucks in Tirreno. |

I'm fine with Ponzi racing Tirreno

Startlist not worthy a PT race IMO, yeah my own team aswell.
So 28th by Ludvigsson is fine.
Congrats cio! THanks for reporting! |

Like 50th!! Paaah.. that's how you perform with such a weak startlist. 50th....
Thanks for the report though. Until Watson got dropped with 64km to go, it was kinda enjoyable for me

Quite funny how a weak startlist suddenly has surprising names in the top spots such as Gaviria. Great race for wildcard teams obviously.
Demare with a big win here while Borges is back on track when being allowed to lead.
Most awful race really for Gastauer and Vakoc. In a race they should fight for the win or podium, they are totally crap. Similar with Reichenbach, Slagter, Buchmann to a lesser extend. Quite some disappointments surely. Even more when seeing that startlist.
Gazelle with their depth also not showing at all here. Some top40`s yes, but best at 15 is also weak. |

Ugh, what a load of crap. No good AI and no attempt at all.
How the hell do I fail my Top 10 team goal in this field...

Thank you for the report, AbhishekLFC! A pity the AI didn't really serve you well with only one attack from outsiders/favourites during the whole race.
And that was hopeless stuff from Vakoc The attack was good, nice to see him try something, but then just going completely to the back part of the peloton all the way to well inside the final kilometers and coming away with nothing is disappointing, and kind of weird as well.
Congratulations, cio. Hopefully this stops your constant complaining from races in general, even where your riders are doing decent and expected race results/stage results Démare winning and a lucky punch with Mager and Arndt top 11 certainly should weigh up for quite a lot
As roturn writes, fun to see Gaviria and other "weird" riders up there. The top 5 looks fairly normal, but from 6th and onwards, I suspect it will be one of the more surprising results list this season |

In the break and Olsson with a 40th place. Given the team I sent here, I couldn't really expect more than that! Great win for Démare. Proper good race for Puma that.

The victory was the goal but i definitely wont complain about finishing second as that is still a strong result. Slightly bothered that its Demare to win after Van Stayen failed quite badly the last two seasons here but oh well, i will finish behind Puma anyway, right?
Congrats cio, fantastic result for you!
Spilak only 5th but i think Isostar still had a very solid race with Kump inside the top 10 and Wyss 16th which is nice.
Lierse takes away quite a few points from PT teams. Thanks for that
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Fucking ace! Koretzky seemed very strong, but was caught in the end. I believe he could have kept up with the leading duo if it wasn't the case, but he wouldn't have beat them in the sprint anyway!
Happy with 3rd. Couldn't have asked for more. Also got a good result from Kastrantas in 21st, while Archimandritis got a few points too. Good race for us, in the midst of all the horror.

As I expected, we only managed to win the points for finishing the race.
Although it had not been worth much,, I would have liked to see my riders try to get into the break of the day.

Oh this was a good one! Lierse and Kulczyk messing plans up Good to see Barbin stick around with some of the better puncheurs in the game. Kulczyk management is taking this into consideration with planning for the future
Congrats to cio, what a dominant rider Demare is turning into.
Thanks for the fantastically detailed report Abhi, really enjoyable to read

I expect this race to be annulled. Not PT-worthy, and still I only finished in the 40's |

Marycz 30th and Polnicky 41th, that is not really bad. If I would keep Vakoc I would be once again really disappointed right now, so have to be happy with these results.
Congrats to Puma, what a nice race for you cio! On the other way Gastauer and Vakoc, wow...

Our Lord and Savior!! He has risen, and his hill stat hasn't even improved yet!
Wow, I don't think it has ever taken me this long to scroll through the final kilometres of a race.
The suspense once Demare got into Skujins' wheel was immense, it felt like he could bonk any second. Probably took me 10 minutes for the last 5k...what a great ride.
Amazing team effort throughout the entire race. We played the underdog and stayed out of chasing duties, but always had 3-5 riders in the first quarter of the peloton to waste as little energy as possible.
This allowed us to get two further great results with Mager and Arndt as I hoped for, adding up to a total of 337 points which surely makes up for the windy Qatar and whatever we're doing in Italy at the moment.
I apologize for being tough to like and cheer for at times lately, it's a combination of things and this should surely see the trend reverse for now. We gotta take the motivation into MSR though to consolidate this result.
I hope nobody really minds me winning this, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone congratulating us, as well as to Aquarius for a thrilling report with lots of great shots of the final and very thorough coverage of the front end of the bunch to really get a sense of rider positioning and movements in the crucial moments.
Commiserations to teams like Vesuvio, Aker and T-Mobile, and in particular to Michael Van Stayen.
I will agree that from a neutral perspective, this race was rather boring and of less quality than it would deserve, but I assume now every manager will send his stars here next season to overcompensate.

oops, my brain?! I just looked at the latest reporter in the races subforum and assumed that must've been this race, because I checked out that report last. Sorry!
