Impressive solo win from Rosetto at Yorkshire. GVA wins GC, first win this season I guess (can't be bothered to look up PCS)

With Giro on Eurosport I also decided to hang around for Yorkshire. Nice area, nice course, good number of spectators. BIg fan of Eddie Dunbar's performance.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Didn't he win a stage in Oman?

thx, good for him then.
yes, Dunbar was fun to watch. Attacked at every climb, bit more of a selection in the hills and it might have had a chance to stand away with 2-3 riders.

What about Brandon McNulty, this kid climbed with the best before Bernal’s attack in Gibraltar road and sits some seconds outside the top-10, where I can imagine he’ll lurk into after the time trial. |

To this day I don't know how to properly post PCS results , but Tejay won the ToC TT over Patrick Bevin, Tao Geoghegan Hart (who has been in amazing form), Lawson Craddock, and Fillipo Ganna, a 21 year old Italian at UAE.
Tejay crushed the Cali TT and moves into the overall lead. Going to be a tight battle on the last mountain stage for GC between him and Bernal. Not a bad ride from Bernal by any stretch, but he got outclassed by a superb ride by Tejay. I certainly wasn't expecting it.
Been a long time since TVG put in a ride like that. He was solid in the mountains, at least better than what we're used to the last couple of years. It will be really exciting for stage 6. I'm pulling for Tejay against the odds, but I'm gonna keep my expectations low until proven otherwise.
Very interesting that both Craddock and Powless were lacking on the climbs more than normal, but then put in super TT's. Clearly they've been focused on one over the other or messed up GC training.

Yes, he did it! I hope that he can hold the lead to recover for many disappointments he got last years. I can't forget his tears when was forced to leave TdF
...and I gave him a chance in the GHWC

Yet another close call for Bevin, thought he had it but TJ came back hard in the second section. He'll get there soon, what an awesome WT-level allrounder Paddy is becoming

Two stage wins for Nando in California against Ewan, Sagan, Kittel and the likes. Looking good for another Quick Step stage win streak in France.

Now, will they add McNulty to their talent lineup, so that in a couple of years we have a mountain train consisting of Hart-McNulty-Sivakov-Bernal? |

I hope Bernal leaves some GT wins to the others in the future. He's too good, I already see the boredom lol He certainly looks like he will be the greatest rider of this next century.

Calm down a bit it's only california. Opposition was second class, especially looking at how McNulty was best of the pack. Bernal is great, but he's not a top 5 Stage Racer just for now. He has to prove something in Time Trilas and consistency on recovery/flat stages to be in the GT winner debate

Maybe, though Benoot in Strade was amazing as well. I would still love this guy if he would ride for a different team. He showed some stuff in the WT as well, so I do think he should get his shot at a GT next season if he can keep this up.
In other news, Norway is interesting as well, the first dive in cycling (CCC rider jumps off his bike and lies down to avoid time loss after a nearby <3km crash) and Lars Boom gets ejected for punching Preben Van Hecke.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The video of the CCC rider (Pawel Bernas afaik) who dived as Ollfardh said.
And he's one of the guys I'm excited about on my MG team.
