Huge shame to see Barbin crashing out, really feel for the involved managers when it happens.
Cool on the other hand to see Anuar, that kind of is the top CT puncheur that always seems to be hiding himself a bit, win stage 3 in such style after of course it was concerning to see him crash in s1.
As for my own guys, Ulissi gaining a top 10 in a bunch sprint was actually kinda refreshing since that means one full more point for us thanks to it, and possibly a good help in Ulissi's very own quest to take on the green jersey or whatever colour the points jersey is. Probably did help that he does have a pretty high stamina after all.
Stage 3 was kind of disappointing but it's basically par for the course when put into context with stage 1's result too - and considering TVG had an average to mediocre day as well. Flugel is not quite as strong as a Froome or TVG or even Schreurs so if stage 5 and 6 go our own way we could still see Ulissi get the jersey. Lavery on the other hand is surely punching above his weight though, and he's doing exactly what I hoped he would do as I mentioned before. Great showing and surely a justified signing. Pretty happy about how much Tanovitchii is helping too.
Satisfying race so far. Thanks Tamijo great stuff.

Well it couldn't have been him since he was in yellow, that's why I was confused when I read it. But as I said it doesn't matter at all. Don't worry about it, it was a great report.

Three riders hit the tarmac including Manarelli, no hope on him participating in any further sprints then. Betancourt also not in the greatest of shapes. If it sounds like I'm moaning too much it's because all my new signings appear to be shit so far.

Good result for Klemme in stage 3. Too bad Kadri lost so much time in stage 2 though

Meh stage for us. Should have been in the break tbh. Congrats to Spar though, great start of the season for them.

Keeping a steady stream of stage points coming in here, which i can approve of. Would have been ncie to see the teams work rewarded but the break played it beautifully. Simon again in the Top10, he's really up for this race and i pray he can hang on when it gets tough again.

So close but still so far, already suspected that this stage would be won by someone from the break but see Kupfernagel go without the win because of the break costs a little..
Nevertheless the team is to be congratulated because it worked in front to eliminate the break and was still able to put Kupfernagel in optimal position to win the sprint in the peloton. The lead in the points classification is a bonus and it will be very difficult to maintain this lead until the end because I do not think that Kupfernagel is able to beat Ewan and Cavendish again in the last stage.

Serebriakov sprinted A decent outcome for us again, but nothing that really helps us. Hopefully we can join some breaks in the final few stages and climb a bit further in the GC.

Pedersen joined the break, which is cool to see, our neo-pro got a bit excited about the KOM sprints though and needs some experience to realise you can't completely go all out on them. Otherwise a little bit disappointing to see Sobota not sprint, but expected.
Awesome to see the break win though, congrats bikex! And thank you very much for another fantastic report Tamijo!

SPAR rolling! We're invisible another time, but I get used to that.

Van Heerden possibly injured in his 2nd consecutive race Was happy enough with 7th place for him on Stage 2. That may be a sign of my low expectations for him though, when a couple of points can be cheered.
Very encouraged by Stage 3 too. Venter showing an interest in KoM points, and while again the tactics could have been better, he is laying a good foundation for if he can make the all important breakaway on Stage 6.
Teklit in 11th is pretty great too, with Hategaka joining him in the GC Top 20. Would certainly have taken that at the start of the race.
Cool to see Asian cycling going well here, the breakaway win for Boonratanathanakorn in particular.
Thanks for the reports Tamijo.

Kraftwerk too tired to catch the break, well done Bikex your man held off the sprinters.
Another podium keeps the points coming, still waiting for that elusive win.
More hard work for the team tomorrow, hope being in yellow can inspire Flügel.
Thanks for the reports Tamijo.
