The DB is not the final one and things still will change or are missing. But it will help with renewals, which will be sent out those days. (yes ahead of race profiles, goals, budget; so it`s not a must to work on it immediately if you need to wait for those to be published first).
The DB should have correct stat increases and decreases as also retirements. Please check if you find any mistakes and mention those.
Also the NCs, 2017 teams pre renewals, Avenir/training eligibility has been worked on.
Missing are correct divisions and race days.
But this should be similar to last year.
That said here some overview about next season, in especially some changes:
- The divisions will have 22/26/24 teams.
- The calendar was shortened a bit. Not much but easier for reporters. Hence the race days of riders will also go down a bit. Approximately 5-6 race days each rider!
- There will be a PT HC division, which is new and hopefully solves all the problems with PT teams in HC races. This division will be in between PT and HC point wise and offers a clash of those two divisions without stat restrictions as last year in HC.
This way HC will be for PCT only and hence give them their own area but also an opportunity against PT teams which should be good for nice planning and good tactics.
- PT HC will be made via bands via priority lists as all PT HC races will have a full 24 teams.
- C2HC will be a strict schedule similar to the PT calendar for CT teams. Their options to choose races will remain in C2 and C1 events.
In short:
PT (~172rd): GT/M/PT/PTHC
PCT (~130rd): GT/M/PT (via wildcards) PTHC/HC/C1/C2 stat restricted)
CT (~100rd): HC (via wildcards) C1/C2HC/C2

As far as I can tell, the 2015 Team2 column shows the team the rider rode for last season. So if you want to see for which team a rider rode last year check that column
For some reason Excel does not allow me to filter the file: when clicking one of the filters it appears and then quickly disappears without allowing me to filter. Anyone else with the same problem/a solution?

I might have misunderstood the column, but the 2016 column is free agent for the likes of Uran, which seems weird to me. Could make sense that disbanded teams have been removed from the DB tho as suggested further down.

It's probably opened in protected view. At least that was the case for me.
