That was a fantastic and well-written report to round off an unexpectedly tense race, the route changes did great to improve the AI on this.
In the end, deserved winner and not a bad top 10 either. Glad Kasperkiewicz could hang on, I've reported quite a few CT races where he was very active break wise. He's gonna be an incredible rider when maxed!

Well, not too shabby! Losing Ostergaard sucked, and Boonen probably shouldn't have done the leadout yesterday considering how it ended up, but De Maar put in a ride well about his cobbled stat and Boonen and Lee scooped up minor places as well. A podium on the final stage works for me. 4th, 7th, and 10th in GC also suffices considering how strong the top 2 guys are. I wish we could have snagged the podium, but at least De Maar gave it all he had with that final attack. Losing team by 3 seconds is a little rough but who cares?
Great race. Thanks for the great report Tamijo! Very detailed and easy to follow. Amazing job!

Cant really complain with the result here for us. Mostly experience, but Yudai and Saya both did well and will only be better next year.

No more bananas to Burkina Faso as punishment for this horrible race.
Thanks Tamijo for the reports and congrats on those who had a much better race than us. Which is nearly everyone

First off thank you Tamijo for the report, really well written and detailed reports for an exciting race
Really really happy to see Kasperkiewicz hold on to the podium! I'm amazed that he had that in him, even with the yellow jersey bonus, it's amazing that he could finish his time in Costa Rica with a really great race for Ste, with his first outright win (sharing the Tour of Scotland KOM will forever complicate things ), the GC podium, second in points and the white jersey, now I can't wait until he's maxed
Congrats TMM and Croatia on the first two places, especially good to see Drucker securing points to help make certain of Isostar's promotion!

Considering you probably get a fair share of bananas from Burkina Faso, I'm sure they won't be too concerned about that...

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Need to break down what this means:
1) Stage win, awesome and well ridden to deliver yet again on the CT cobbles
2) That's Stage Win #10 and that's completed Goal #2
3) Nails the GC win, our second ever
4) With the couple of extra Stage points, plus Points Jersey, Team Comp and extra GC points, the Title race has just become very entertaining indeed
5) Finally we get revenge on this damn'd race and Grashev can finally sleep free of nightmares
So so so goddamn happy with this one. Awesome stuff, so fricking good. Completed another Goal, now 2-19. Love another GC win to sit proudly alongside Juarez. Weirdly only the second Points Jersey of the year from such a sprint focused team.
We had to really bang this race to keep the title alive and the boys did exactly that. Especially a nice direct gain over Kraftwerk and will put pressure on Ferrero. CT Title really could go the final meter of the season.
But, G did the job. F*cking G MAN!!! Party time...

Despite a big 130 points scored by Podium Ambition, Ferrero remains in the lead. Though Kraftwerk drops to 3rd as their performance was rather weak.
Carlsberg with 3 inside the top10 also with a very good race being 2nd best scorer and climb up to 4th passing Chiquita.
Isostar has closed the gap to the bananas but it`s still a long way to go for a direct promotion spot. Inside the top 10 La Poste remains on the 7th while Ticos made a good step forward passing Mol and Xero.
At the bottom no big changes while the last 4 rows just show the Faso scoring of the 4 PCT teams, which were okay, but not great. For talent development squads though okay.

Very nice result by Kasperkiewiecz. It's always nice to see these versatile talents make a small breakthrough, well knowing that they will perform on a much larger scale at some point.

Well done to TMM and Podium on the overall, and especially securing 10 stage wins (quite an achievement with reduced number of CT RD's we have nowadays!).
For WCC, a half full, half empty outcome. Bush manages 5th equal, which meets a sponsor goal (5 = on time counts as top 5 right?), but once more an underwhelming edge to it. As generally the 2nd best cobbler in the division as long as there are not an abundance of hills, Mr. Bush has been consistently bringing home points, but below expectations, no podiums that I recall. He can expect management to play hardball come contract negotiation time!
Competent backing up by Clifford & Backaert just outside top 10 overall is solid. Our man of the breaks, particularly in the 2nd half of the season again does his job, step forward and take a bow Clement Venturini; perhaps WCC rider of the season!?!

A good race for us. A win of that stage would've been even better, but this is exactly what I was talking about. Not loose time before, than attack the last stage. Great teamwork and then the big move by Drucker, that almost succeeded. If he would've done that all season
But a good result from here, putting some distance into LaPoste and MOL. Though I have to fear Ticos now too I guess. One lucky race/stage for any of the 4 teams behind can make them overtake us.

Well that's certainly music to my ears, though I think it's pretty apparent that Chiquita will overtake us again since we aren't racing Ruta America del Sur and they have good chances there. In the end, if they do under perform there this could all come down to Zurich. it's gonna be close.

Some great racing brought alive by excellent reporting. This route is definitely a keeper.
Well done TMM a dominant performance as I expected/feared.
Sadly my guys were not on top form and we slip to 3rd (thanks for the update roturn).
With only one race left our title hopes are pretty much over but the exciting battle between Ferrero and Podium Ambition looks like going to the wire.

Have to hope for a bad America for some teams and a big Zuri for us for that top 10 finish.
In the race sad to see Jams slip but decent to see Davison in the break. Overall pretty crap though.

I think it's between us and you for 10th as unless we have a crazy strong Ruta I don't think I can catch anyone else. I need my Hill squad to perform big time there and in Zuri, which at least is a home race for half of them so should see them extra motivated, and secure us points from our depth and not just a strong top result in both races.

Should be a good fight Your depth and extra RDs are really the problem as I only have two sure-ish scorers in Zuri anyway and they're wildly unpredictably bad sometimes

Nice to see Tzortzakis take a 3rd place on stage 2, but it was another disappointing race for us. No cobbles riders meant it was always going to be difficult and I think this result might just mean we miss out even on the disbandment promotion places.
Thanks for the reports!
