Copenhagen-Malmo TTT
Category: PT | 58,6 km | terrain: flat TTT | Denmark/Sweden |
Copenhagen - Malmö might be the most special race of the season. This is all about teamwork and strength. Which team has got the best outfit to challenge the Oz Cycling Project that took the last two editions?

Can`t expect a lot here since Keizer missing out for rd reasons.
If I make your predicted top10, I am happy. Though my team usually underperforms a lot in TTTs, so I guess, they will finish around 15th.
3-4 teams really look impressive here with a beasty TTT train.
This little "Bridge Climb" there often had a bit of an impact iirc, so having a bit of a punchy time trialist clearly should help to decide the final winner, hence I-Gen looking strongest imo. |

We are the favorites here I suppose together with a few others, but I do think the small hill on the route could have an impact. It's so late in the race that the best TT'ers are starting to wear down a bit, and if the puncheurs go fast up the hill there might be a loss of strong TT'ers with shitty hill stats, like Vlatos, Bernaudeau and such.
And looking at the allround capacities of timetriallists, I would say a team like Gazelle should do well - They have been doing well all season.
Clearly we want a good result as it is expensive to bring Coppel and Lecuisinier to a race like this, if we don't get a strong result.'
Quite surprised to see Vesuvio just throwing the race, as they could have been a top 5 team looking at the riders they could have put here.

I'm rather surprised that our TTT setup is actually not as shitty as I expected in comparison to half of the division.
Metinvest and Tinkoff aside, we're not much or not at all worse than the teams around us.
I second the hope that the bridge will have some impact. Sütterlin might be bad uphill, but behind him we nearly exclusively have 70+ puncheurs.
Ideally, that will level their abilities somewhat and lead to smoother cooperation towards the finish. (If we're unlucky, Sütterlin gets dropped and we will fail...)
Looks like this is where Festina will deservedly win the title.

Sending all our best guys here, and it seems like we have a good chance to get a good result here. A place on the podium would be really great. The win should be too hard to, with the line up that teams like I-Gen and Oz have here, but hopefully it will be a good battle. The TTT's have been hard to predict lately, so, hoping for the best.

This may be the very last PT-race for our team. We try to appreciate the moment, knowing more about the more serious tasks ahaed.
Thanks for the preview, Croatia!

Thank you for the preview, Croatia14. Liked it a lot to see all TT stats listed.
And hopefully you can enjoy that I sent your rider, our loanie, as our "captain" here. That was my only thought when putting up the team for this race, so it's very nice to see you report the race
Result wise, it should be nothing to see here for us. |

Indeed, Stan the Man to pull Aker to a Top20 here I love his sight on the team so far, so thanks again for giving him the chance to ride for you in the world tour circuit! Of course the belorussian beast and his hidden 86 TT will pull Aker to win this don't you dare ask for a rerun afterwards, it's the pure strength of Aker that will make them win every time

A Top5 would be a very good result here in Denmark.

Told you my team sucks in TTT and even when on favourite list, they find a way to go slower.
14th is about what I expected here. So can`t complain.
Big win by Tinkoff. Wasn`t expecting this. I-Gen and Oz very close as expected. 3rd is decent points for Oz in relegation battle, but is it enough? |

Congratulations, OlegTinkov! Looks like you're on a roll now, coming of a great result in ToNE as well.
As roturn points out, important points for Oz as well, and they've also done well in HC races of late, I think, so they could sneak just above the relegation zone.
20th is as good as it gets for us in a TTT with that line up.
Thank you for the report, and also giving us a picture of every team, Croatia14! |

Normally I would be plenty happy with 2nd here - and I am... But it does bug me, that I haven't won a single race all season, so whenever I come close I really hope to finally get that one race win. It does make the season look quite a lot better, eventhough we are currently charging in towards an overall win. Good points for sure!
Congrats to Tinkoff for a great win and sorry to Jayco'z for losing valuable points on a s.t. TTT over 55km of length.

Next season Zmorka and Ignatiev will both have 400+ points from timetrials

Good result! For once we've been lucky again with the s.t. tie. Certainly excellent timing to gain a bit of ground on the likes of Aegon and BPost again.
Tinkoff are on a great late season surge, congrats! Also congrats to our friends at Festina, despite missing out on the win.
Thanks for the innovative report and the team gallery!

This was shit but i cannot complain as we finished on the same position I also expected. I was never going to be a top 15 contender in this race.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Well as I see our pre-season investment to sell every better time trialist clearly paid-off here! Result as expected. Congrats to both Tinkoff and Festina. Thanks for the report.
