Not good from Clarke but Diggle with a cheeky top 10 to keep himself up with the other potential GC guys and Davison bumping up to 3rd overall.
GC-wise pretty wild day, some cobble/hill riders hit which is good but feel sorry for Naesen and Pozzato especially. Solid stage in the bigger picture for us but dissapointing on the whole.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

De Vreese, De Marchi and Lovik the only guys who crossed the line with the peloton... Taborre lost about 6 minutes and a half so I don't think we'll do good in this race

Glad Gaimon nicked a sixth, although Giaux continues to gloriously stuff things up.

Damn. Had high hopes for Pozzato but he's done for. Doubt he'll get healthy again this race.
Hopefully Navardauskas can mix it up for GC but I think he'll need to take the leaders jersey on stage 3 to be competitive in the cobbled stage.

Come back from a wedding, hungover as hell and I get the delight of Bille taking stage 1, Ngandamba taking a podium on Stage 2, and others battling it out at the finish!
Came for a stage win, and now really hoping Bille could finish with a high GC place.
Thanks for the reports trek and congrats Paul for the stage 2 win!

Honestly I didn't expect my team to be a factor, buth Vivacom is 6th in the team, our loanee is 4th in the young riders standings and Nieve - our leader - is performing well. However the cobbles will be an challenge

I was really scared when De Maar fell, and I'm still scared that it will have lingering effects, but at least he still managed to stay in the front group and not lose time. That is very important as we go into the deciding stages. Another top 10 for Mygind which would be nice most instances, but I'm starting to become afraid that PCM might get some bad ideas about his high placing on GC, so it worries me.

I knew it. The fricking stupid ass PCM AI is going for Mygind. And of course De Maar is hurt by his crash even though he recovered fine yesterday.
I really don't want to be bitter because so many others were hurt by these crashes too, but this has been a really shit start to the season and it's only gotten worse thus far. I thought maybe De Maar wouldn't be brilliant here again but I was hoping for at least something. Now we will get crap from our win goal.
Good reporting at least.

Badnews De Haes couldn't join up with Goodnews, but nice to see him active after his double crash yesterday. The Minions managed to avoid the crashes nicely today with Kinney and Marcos still good near the front.

Wow, so many crashes here..
Nice to see Lloyd at the front grabbing bonifications. Tough race, hard to control a break. Lame stuff from Klemme and co though.

You would think but I think PCM 15 might just be generally more unpredictable in these type of instances.

The number of crashes are strange but it was definitely set at 100% crash frequency, Roturn and I were discussing it, it might be down to the stages having a lot of short descents and corners, combined with the rain, not much can be done about that though.

Cant remember ever seeing some many crashes in one single stage (or race for that instant) but this is pretty absurd. Now it will just come down to whoever of the favourites who dont hit the ground to win
Nevertheless nice tactic from WCC to send two guys in the break in such a hectic stage and their tactic definetely succedet, gratz!
