You definitely lack a 74 TT rider. Luckily for you, I have one that you can get for free |

For some reason, I don't feel the urge

Here's my team. Guess what terrain I'll focus on. In the end I'm happy with how it turned out cause I should be very competitive for all my goals. Raceplanning won't be easy though cause all riders are quite similar.

Well, in real life, that would be a hell of a team, but I fear that PCM could screw you up...

Speak for yourself, I'm still trying to outbid Ollfardh on one of my main pre transfer targets whom I would already have signed if not for the Van Stayen saga.

So Im heading away from my computer for the next two nights, but I will still have access on my phone. With the way my transfer sheet is, there shouldn't be any chance I go over any of my caps/budgets, so if something has gone wrong, it shouldn't be an issue to fix, but I wont have access to that until late sunday.
Thought I'd let other managers know to explain the slow responses and such.

Still a few riders to officially confirm but I'm pretty sure this will be my squad for next year. Riders loaned out to other teams have those teams in that column.
I don't really know where my team stacks up, but I can at least say that I've improved my team in pretty much every way since last year. Had to sacrifice a bit of my nationality focus to do it but the Danish well ran dry and I'm not sacrificing results for it anymore.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

It's a tough call on where you land with that team. Almost certainly the bottom half of the division, and you might even be fighting relegation. The strength of climbing power in the division might really hurt you. That said, there are always points up for grabs on the cobbles and your squad should have a decent chance of doing well there.

Fighting relegation? BBL is CT.

Haha there you go, in that case it looks like a PCT squad to me, and you will probably promote BBL.

Give those of us (OK, me) who came to the table late a chance to catch up! With bids that finalised over-night, very pleased to be able to report that we now have 11 riders on board. In line with the World Cycling Centre philosophy, 8 of these 11 are unmaxed, and our average age is currently 24.09 . This is likely to creep up a wee bit as along with a couple of other unmaxed targets, I bring in a couple of extra veteran mentors. Then I may well have what is left of the stagiare pool to myself - best get 15 rider legal first then confirm loan deals before I dive into that though!
Hopefully a HQ update introducing the signings later today!

This should be our final squad pending one or maybe more loans out:
Pretty happy as we managed to secure our two top targets, both the best Colombian stage racer and best puncheur, as well as decent depth in both aspects of climbing. The signing of Guerao boosted our average cobble stat up to a whopping 54 so we should be able to compete in that department as well...

Seeing some really nice teams here, I might aswell give a look into the Team I-Gen - Festina setup.
I started out with a much stronger team, but always knew I had to get rid of Ricco. So the situation basically is (except for Ricco).
Out: Laurent Pichon, Yoann Paillot, Martin Hacecký, Zhihui Jiang
In: Jakub Novak, Pavel Potocki, Maxime Bouet, Marco Haller, Andreas Hofer, Grzegorz Stepniak
Also worth noting is that we had two 76COB riders in on loan last season, who are not longer present...
So this transfers we tried to keeping our team as close together as possible. Hacecký was covered by Novak and Potocki so a definate + there, while we strenghtened our sprinting departement significantly, so we are now competitive at PT level (to some degree), but also have two sprinters capable of doing HC races for us.
In the TT departement we lost an 80TT rider and gained two 76TT guys, so obviously we lost some quality there, but gained a bit of quantity.
And finally we lost Jiang to make room for a free agent rider (it's not a real off season if you haven't bid on one rider in the FA ).
Additionally we made quite some money, so we are able to train one rider significantly and another one decently. Now the question is, who and how. I have some different plans and options! Overall we are pretty satisfied with our team where we feel competitive almost everywhere, but we also do realise that we lack a certain 1000 point scorer which will make it very difficult to achieve what we did last season, even with several riders maxing out giving us some more potential in other races.
What do you think?

@sotd Thought you said the renewals hurt you?
Great team, Leicusnier already maxed and at the age of 23 only (!) Wow.
Heres my team, just missing some stagiares:
Instead of going for one sole leader like last year, I decidet to opt for more scoring potential (I hope atleast ) Should do pretty well in the hilly terraign, and one leader for each type of the hilly difficulty.
Not really massive scoring potential elsewhere, hoping Aberasturi will score a bit in the stage races when the top sprinters isnt present. Tried building a decent train for him aswell, just hoping he gets the chance to use it.
Regarding Kump, I didnt want to take any risks and got multiple possible lead-outs for him in Marcato, Jans and Ventoso. Hopefully one of them will have enough left in the tank to do their job for him in the finale.
First time I have avoidet mountains, seeing the competition, it might aswell been a decent idea.

My team is finished, only something extraordinary could lead to some kind of change. Is far from being one of the best teams in PCT but still I think that gives guarantees of a safe and peaceful season.
Transfers did not go as well as expected. Vogt was in fact one of the names defined as the main target, and all other signings were part of the original list but none of them were top of the list. Unfortunately the main targets earlier were too expensive for the team's possibilities

Yeah missing the mountains isn't really a bad idea, though Slagter and Ablenado have potential to score some points there. Massive hill department; Rui Costa, Bilbao and Kump too have potential to score damn high. lots of fresh blood at Hugo Boss definitely, we'll make it exciting to follow. Vamos Bilbao!
