PCM.daily Advent Calendar 2008 - Mostly by Waghon

As a new (horrible) feature on PCMdaily. We will have one of the fangled "Advent Calendars" which is (as far as I know) a christmas themed story divided into 24 parts in December. Yours truly will of course be the comical writer (and comical failure relief).
Because you will undoubtly love it (I mean, everyone have liked my earlier stuff, and I've always doubted that was good enough), you will comment in the comments section on the news item. Which you cant. Because I've removed it. Because I insist someone makes a post about it in the "Favourable and critical comments" sub-forum. Please?

Hello. In the honor of PCMDaily's 2nd anniversery, i was told to go find a reason for this site to continue its existance. I did this by interviewing two beloved members from the community: IssoIsso and Doddy13 with varying levels of success. Click "Read More" for the interviews.

Earlier today, we had arranged a Birthday Tournament of 1 x 30 lap Scratch, 1 x elimination and 1 x 10 lap Scratch. Mrlol started by taking the victory in the 30 lap scratch with Schleck 2nd and Smoothie 3rd. Schleck once again showed up at the top when he got 3rd with Waghlon winning and JustinWK being the runner up in the elimination. In the final race, the 10 lap scratch, newly joined (in the game) Lagetcher took the win ahead of Smoothie with an AI getting 3rd.

So, added together, we have a winner. And the winner is ... Waghlon! Although he wasn't very consistent, his win in the elimination turned out to be crucial as he has 65 points, 4 more points than Smoothie who got 2nd overall, and 10 more points than Schleck who despite not playing the final round ended third -- meaning that he'd probably have won overall, had he played the last round ;)

Either way, thanks for playing with us today. It was a lot of fun, especially for those of us who used the TeamSpeak server while playing ;)

As mentioned in the previous news article, PCM.daily is going to release a database within a week or two. For the same reason, we're of course very close to final, and we can therefore start to release the information to the public. By clicking "read more", you can find the full (maybe with the exception of 1-2 teams which might be added) team list and the list of added races (so far - again, this can also increase, but it depends on the time left).
