Stage 13: Bourg d'Oisans - Valence
After three days in the alps, we're back on (mostly) flat terrain as we head towards the pyrenees. There are a few hills over the course of these 170 kilometers, two of them categorized, but overall it's a much easier time. The last kilometer rises at 3%, but the final few hundred meters are flat.
Peter Sagan (Bora)
John Degenkolb (Trek)
Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ)
Alexander Kristoff (UAE)
Sonny Colbrelli (Bahrain)
Typically, this sort of transfer stage could lend itself to a breakaway win, even more with most of the top tier sprinters are gone, their teams out of the chase and Sagan with the green jersey pretty much all wrapped up (Fun fact: He has more points than places two to four combined). This could also be a chance for the second tier sprinters to get a stage win they might otherwise not be able to obtain. Laporte, Boasson Hagen, Boudat, maybe even someone like Nikias Arndt or Daryl Impey could be in the mix today.
---------------
Main question today I think is whether the break of the day makes it. It's pretty hot, too, with up to 32°C, so maybe everyone just takes it slow today? What do you think?

I think the break will take it again Sagan will be in that break. However everyone will race against him. It will be interesting |

Massive breakaway to form, GC guys won't be interested so I can see it staying away. |

I swear if Scully has what happened to Bauer happen to him...

Laporte will win, maybe from the break this time though.

Demare's gotta be pissed. Every sprinter abandoning, perfect leadout, and he's still left winless.

This year are really disapponting his performances, just two victories, still good ones but lot less than his standards
