Volvo accompanied by Spotify
We are delighted to finally secure sponsorship from one of the biggest companies in Sweden, Volvo car group. We have been talking about this for some years but it was first now when we managed to defend our position in the elite class of cycling, ProTour that Volvo became really interested in sponsoring a cycling team.
Spotify is happy with the last two years with the team and was very happy to stay with us.
This will be the 8th season for this team that have stayed Swedish all the way, the question is can we take further steps up in the ranking?

I like the clear pattern, no matter the colour, really nice. Great news that Volvo has finally signed on. Totally off topic, but for 13 years I drove a Volvo Amazon and loved that car. But rust finally got the better of it and now I drive a boring Golf (though admittedly, the comfort of a new-ish car is nice).

Looks like a really nice design. For me this would be perfect if it also had an O.N.C.E design mode, where they go for yellow jersey in the Giro, and pink in the TdF. Would be the perfect match for me

So this means good bye to some sprint support in Martin Reimer and Thomas Vedel Kvist who both was a bit greedy for our taste.
Long member of the team Jonas Bjelkmark also leaves the team, short member of the team José Joaquin Rojas Gil only spent one year with the team before leaving. |

Just as in the football scene it rumours a lot in the cycling where which riders leaves and to which teams and so on.
Volvo acc. by Spotify is no exception there are a few riders its been talking about, but its not decided if they will leave or not yet but one thing is sure if they leave they need more then "coffee money".

Bystrøm have expressed his feeling of trying as a teamleader once again at PCT level or even in CT. He is still quite young and capable of develop much still with some great training on the hills. He possesses a great kick that will allow him to accelerate away from his opponements at the crucial part of the races. He dont hesitate when it comes to attacking.

Cort Nielsen is also a very young rider that could develop in to a great rider, but his strenght is one it comes to Stage Races with mountains and also capable of taking on the hills and ITTs.

Bystrom is very interesting rider. specially for a CT team. For a PCT he could work like an outsider for a team that doesn't focus in hills and wants to score some points from there

@Aquarius97 - yeah for CT he is very very good, with a little of training he could be very usefull at PCT aswell. With okayish wage and still young.

First Signing this transfer season
We are happy too present our first signing for in this offseason, Lucas Eriksson is a young guy with lots of potential. He prefer the hills.
We managed to sign him at minumin wage 50.000 which we think is amazing.
