Congrats Ferrero for the late title win with a dominant performance in Zuri-Mezgete. Impressive hill depth leads to a nice win there.
But of course congrats to the remaining top5 for direct promotion. In especially very happy to see Carlsberg going up this year as also Chiquita. Two teams, where the manager deserve to be up on higher level. |

I've waited for this moment for so long, and we finally did it. Promotion is ours! Despite a real roller coaster season and a lot less success than we wanted at times, we pulled it together to snag that top 5 spot, obtain automatic promotion, and win our goal.
I want to thank all the organizers like roturn who made this season, possible, along with all of the valiant reporters. And especially, I would like to thank Marc De Maar for all he has done to transform this team over the past two years. After a lackluster start, he was able to shoot up the rankings, and his efforts were crucial to cementing our place in the top 5.
Looking forward the NC's, the off season, and transfers already. After three years, it will be a very new experience for me.

We played our part in the season and helped take it right down the last race. Super happy with 2nd place, it caps a really nice season of success for the team. Re-inventing ourselves has payed off hugely and has given the squad a great basis to go forwards on in the PCT.
G was stellar this year. 6th place individual almost doesn't do it justive, but for a classics rider like him it's a huge finish to an outstanding season of dominance at this level. And he did take i to the PCT teams very strongly as well in his few C1 races.
Yates just beating Ricki to 8th excellent as well, he defintely had a season to remember. Utterly worth delaying development to keep him as our leader because without his contribution to the hills i reckon we might have missed direct promotion. Ricki was really nicely consistent, always up there in his sprints and delivering wins when it mattered.
3 Top10 rider is beyond belief for the team. We've never had anything close to this in our previous years and i love all three of them immensley. And the whole team playyed parts. Souper and Ewan leading out or going their own worked. Nardin showed flashes of 2013 to bring in points. Bridges, Wolverine, Hristov and Grashev all got cobbles visibility. Julian kept up his work rate and performance.
Just a really great season. Above and beyond my reasonable expectation of what the season would bring. All i wanted was promotion, to be in the title fight was a dream.
Ferrero executed their plan to perfection, you can always rely on overloading hill depth at this level. Kraftwerk faded at the end, but kept us honest across the year with their do-all approach.
Such a testement to the CT that three teams with three different styles and tactics were fighting each other at the top. I hope going forwards the game can keep producing this variety, because it's so fascinating to play-out over an entire year.
Where will the promotion cut-off come? I hope La Poste squeeze in being so close behind Ticos as i think that's where the line is.
Thank you CT, it was really really awesome to be back. Even if only briefly. And finally, we have to sign off with a gif...

After three years in the bottom division it would only be fitting to battle for fourth place with Carlsberg, the only other team from that year which hadn't promoted yet. Over the year we had some lucky performances, and thanks to a great Ruta America del Sur we managed to hold on to fourth place!
Congratulations to Spilak23 with his Ferrero team on the CT crown. Only just under the 2000 points mark. Also congrats to TMM's Podium Ambition, D2B's Kraftwerk and BBL's Carlsberg on the other promotion spots. Sorry for the guys who just missed out, but due to disbandments you might promote as well. To those who missed out completely, better luck next years and remember: it took us three years to promote after a 24th and 17th place, so don't worry if you were near the bottom this year.
Also a massive thank you to roturn for all your effort. I cannot properly express how grateful I am that you were willing to save the Man-Game after such a period of silence. I mustn't forget the reporters and other people who do a lot of work for this wonderful game. Every morning I wake up and the first thing I check is whether there's a new report. Great effort from all of you guys. Also great to see such great involvement from every manager in the game, so I'll take this opportunity to thank them all as well and hope we'll continue with this great game for a long time.
First the World and the NC's, and then on to the 2017 season!

5 go up from CT to PCT
5 go down from PCT to CT
5 go down from PT to PCT
5 go up from PCT to PT
That's all that is confirmed at the moment, but that will change with the divisions changing and with teams disbanding.

Ferrero so unbelieveable amazing. Awesome team structure and great approach to winning the league. Especially unique achievement because of the tough competition in former PCT team podium ambition and stellar newcomers kraftwerk.
Also I agree, time to get hyped for Carlsberg. Awesome to see bbl promote alongside the minions. It really paid off to refuse indirect promotion last year, bbl, a decision I still hold you for in high regard.
Now hoping that Croatia will get up there too to PCT.

11th. 11th. Still, pretty good with no Scully but so close yet so far from our goal, and certainly from any shot at promotion it'd seem. Congrats to everyone here, some amazing new teams and amazing to see old teams finally get to make the step up. Mission failed, we'll get em next time.

Well we didn't come last and we improved from last year. We are still missing that one stand out GC rider but that is our aim for this year's transfer window. Other then that I am happy that we finally got a few win's and we achieved 1/5 goals which is also an improvement from last year. Overall a much better season but still a ton of room for improvement!

Well, at least WCC properly make one goal, securing a top 15. After the unusual pre-season we had, thought it was doable but tough, and so it proved. In more upbeat moments of early season, thought that we could target 1000 points, but this was a reach too far. ToA was massive fun to be part of, but killed off our steady ppRD accumulation.
The teams in the automatic promotion spots are all well deserving - solid off-seasons, and good race planning has delivered worthy results. Hard to quibble at all with the top 5. Some odd AI at times, as PCM is known to throw up, but no major freak occurences that I picked up on this season either destroying or completely making a season; the cookie crumbled pretty evenly.
Excited to hear more on what shape MG2017 will take, and that will also let us see whether or not any of the other CT teams that ran close to top 5 get a chance at taking up an extra PCT slot or two.
For WCC, is hard to look towards thought of challenging for promotion next season with the focus still on rider development. Will have a ton of riders looking for loans to continue rider development, and whether successful or not in securing such will decide what opportunity for new signings we will have. Whatever the case, the majority of riders on our books will continue to be unmaxed as development remains the focus in 2017 (assuming that the MG-UCI are gracious enough to accept our CT renewal papers).
Final words must offer thanks to all the reporters, fellow managers and the over-arching admin 'motors' that keep this great game rolling along.

Congrats to TMM and the other promoting teams, you really did a good job, especially D2B who did really well in your first season tbh...
Our season was characterized by the lack of many other points scorers other than Tvetcov who impressed. Rowe failed as usual and JTL probably did what he was expected to in a tough field, but Stannard disappointed a little and failed to collect many points.
I probably wont promote (although I did from like 17th two seasons ago ) but I think my team is in a good place for next season either way with renewals and a certain returning rider from a loan which will hopefully beef up our points scoring capabilities.
Also a well done to the admins and reporters who have kept the MG running, its been another fun year and hopefully I'll have another one next season as well

A great honour to be the champ. The plan was clear from the start and with a good transfer season we were ready to fully execute it during the racing season and boy did it pay off. Great all around work by the whole team which was really fun to follow.
Barbin the main star obviously he was clearly worth the investment. Before the season it was to be seen how he would handle the opposition of Klemme and Dowsett but He clearly outscored them because of his explosive nature. Grivko our second best scorer which was quite surprising but he did magnificent in his home race in Ukraine, HC no less (think we were one of the only CT teams to even try our hand at HC but it did pay off very well). Navardauskas all around skills were good all year and Pavarin also took a lot of points without ever really being dominant or great. Pozzato maybe had hoped for a bit more from him but who am I to judge him.
I'd like to use this moment to thank all the reporters, I know how much time goes into it and deeply respect the work you put in. Same for everyone who has and will put in behind the scenes work. Extra acknowledgement for Roturn ofcourse who keeps the game running! I know I went inactive for a while but adapting to real working life was harder than I thought.
Next up is the PCT. If the rules stay similar the plan won't be much different as this year but have read some about maybe going to a fixed calender like in PT in all divisions and that would require a different approach. Still some tinkering and planning ahead.
Lastly thanks to everyone for the felicitations. And congrats to Ryant for the individual title.

Delighted to make the podium in our first season, goal was top 15! I have had a great time and really enjoyed contributing to an exciting season finale. Thanks to everyone for their support, encouragement and friendly competition. As a noob I have felt very welcome which means a lot.
Congratulations to Spilak for the win, strength in depth proved decisive. Great effort from TMM running Ferrero so close.
Well done to BBL and Marco who have worked far harder than me to get promotion.
Great to see ryant's smart training paying off with Tvetcov's individual award, the Yorkshire tykes will be much stronger next year when Denis returns.
Lastly a massive big thankyou to Roturn for steering the MG this season and to all the reporters, I really appreciate all the hard work that goes into making this a fun and well run game.
Next stop PCT, blimey
