It`s the penultimate ranking update for the CT division. Only October missing with some huge races left to decide the final promotion spots.
September started with the only C2 event of the month, the Herald Sun Tour. Spark Project scored best there with Yatsevich scoring the main points. At the top most of the promotion candidates took part and also scored decently.
Later the Tour of America as longest PCT/CT event was used by quite a few CT teams, though more from the bottom half of the table. Schuh as best CT performer in the end a bit under 100 points making it 4,6 PPRD in that race. Kayak and Fox very close to them while WCC and ESC had lower scoring races there. Surely a nice event anyway for those 5 teams.
Then La Poste with a nice little rush towards the promotion area by being best performer in Acropolis Cup first and then also scoring well in C1 event Tour of Britain. Same goes for Ferrero though, who had a nice September in total.
This continued for them as Grivko and Navardauskas got quite some points from the Tour of Ukraine, actually a HC event, which rewarded their move there. And also Yekaterinburg saw a strong Ferrero performance, though this time outscored slightly by MOL - OMV.
Lower participation by CT teams in the GP Ville Oran and Milano Torino. Though Podium Ambition and Kraftwerk really challenged the PCT teams there and scored very decent.
The full month clearly was won by Ferrero as top scorer and also La Poste had a good time.

The total rankings show the late run by Ferrero very well. From 3rd in the last update, they climb all the way up into the first spot! Bold move for the CT title there.
Kraftwerk and Podium Ambition the only teams within ~range though and the podium looks pretty much secured for them as well.
Behind them a very close fight between Chiquita and Carlsberg. Only 30 points in between and also ~200 ahead of the non-promotion area. So the five promoting teams really look safe for now and only a really strong last month by Isostar/La Poste/MOL, Xero, Ticos could change that picture. Those are fighting for the order just behind as you never know what happens of course.
1 | 3 | | Ferrero - Samruk | 1870 | 2 | 1 | | Kraftwerk Man Machine | 1750 | 3 | 2 | | Podium Ambition | 1667 | 4 | 4 | | Chiquita - Universal | 1379 | 5 | 5 | | Carlsberg - Danske Bank | 1349 | 6 | 6 | | Isostar - Adriatic | 1155 | 7 | 9 | | La Poste - Mavic | 1136 | 8 | 10 | | MOL - OMV Petrom | 1117 | 9 | 8 | | Xero Racing p/b Octagon | 1024 | 10 | 7 | | Team Ticos Air Costa Rica | 1023 | 11 | 11 | | Sauber Petronas Racing | 943 | 12 | 12 | | cycleYorkshire s/b ASDA-Savers | 913 | 13 | 13 | | New Balance | 898 | 14 | 16 | | The Spark Project p/b Bollé | 798 | 15 | 14 | | World Cycling Centre | 766 | 16 | 19 | | KAYAK - Clas Ohlsen | 710 | 17 | 18 | | Schuh powered by Wiggle | 703 | 18 | 15 | | TVM - Beslist.nl | 702 | 19 | 17 | | Elta - Hellenic Post | 683 | 20 | 21 | | Fox Sports - BikeNZ Cycling | 461 | 21 | 20 | | Löbauer Stadtwerke - Etixx | 419 | 22 | 22 | | Eddie Stobart | 371 | 23 | 23 | | Hankook - Ping An Bank | 248 | 24 | 24 | | Vivacom - DataMap | 177 |
It remains very close at the top and while Ferrero has used mroe race days yet, they look to remain in that top spot here! Kraftwerk coming really close though and also Podium Ambition is less than 70 points off. So depending on the remaining races and who still have leader race days left, might mix it up. Surely the order is not defined yet.
Behind Chiquita is projected to win the fight against Carlsberg but both remain above the line even though Isostar as teh team with least race days used yet, could still attack them. They need very good final race days though.

Despite having the season finished already before September, Tvetcov is remaining the division`s individual leader.
Behind him Barbin, Stauff and Yatsevich have 1 race left each and hence might be the only riders to still grab that spot. But they pretty much need a perfect performance therefore as the gap isn`t that small. In especially the Ferrero leader though showed a huge form recently and might be able to do this.

Well we're looking good for that 5th place. Not much racing left. We'll see what happens!

I do not like what I see here. MOL and LaPoste in striking distance, and the hilly finale of the season should fit both those teams more than us. What makes it worse is that Faso, our potentially good race, is only C2, and that it also looks like Yatsevich even has the same final race as Tennant in Ruta America del Sur. We've lost so many points to Kirill this season
Still we are in 6th though, and we won't give up until we are beaten. Our Slovenians Mezgec and Bole now have to score then in the final races. Go #meninlime!

September could have started better, but pretty good month. Trip to fight PCT in Algeria was worth it. You can see how those hilly races can generate points though with depth, not something we ever have gone after and never will, so i'm happy to pick up a good placing and keep the points coming in slowly.
Podium Ambition only have two races left now. 3 days in Tour du Faso with "G" and his assortment of cobbles support. That's got to be a good race for us right? A GC win there will really put pressure on the other two, although historically not always delivering as a race for us (Grashev's epic rides to save our PCT spot still haunt my nightmares).
Then 8 days of the Ruta America del Sur with Yates going for the GC. Could do him and us very well there to close out the season.
We are holding up our end of the fight, still got a couple of potential big scorers to come. We're going out swinging!
I'd like to get G and Simon into the Top10 Individual scorers off those races, Ricki will probably slip out given he's done now.
October, let's do this!

As long as we hold on to position four I'm happy, and it looks more and more likely with every passing race!

Ferrero is at the top They have had an absurd run this September, and from a 3 way battle between them, Kraftwerk and Podium Ambition, it's now a head to head between the former 2. Looks like CT might eventually be the most exciting division to follow in the last month, with so many teams close to each other, who knew!
The teams in the direct promotion spots look to have been decided here as well, but as everyone knows, it's gonna be more than just those to go up.

Actually think Podium Ambition will get it with Tour du Faso if Gerain does performs. Impressive stuff by Ferrero and Kraftwerk tho, surely one of them will challenge for the title next season in PCT too, maybe even both. Their managers are just that good. Also great to see that BBL looks to be promoting this season, hopefully!

Depends on how the MGUCI will handle the system next year, I wouldn't call that before I see it...
But if so, not many disband promotion spots there this year, and I fear that 8th won't be enough, which will make this even more intense...In an ideal spot I see us disband promoting with LaPoste now...but especially MOL will have two fantastic races in America and Zürich, so they're likely to pass us - at least de la Cruz should be done and Xero might be too far away despite their hills depth

We might still have a chance of grabbing that 10th spot even though there is a bit of a gap.
It all comes down to the hills for us which has been arguably our best terrain all year, with Del Sur and Zurich left.
Del Sur sees us have an Othman/ Hugentobler dual threat so hopefully one of them can step up and challenge for a good GC place.
Then we pull out all the heavy hitters for our home race bringing Othman, Schurter, Hugentobler, Forcellini and even getting Zoidl to do only his second classic of the season as we chase a strong result and hopefully a nice bunch of depth points to go with it.

Good month for us. If we have luck, or even is just paperform, we can score some points in the last month too. Fairly said ill be happy with any ranking between 6-10 in the final rankings |

A polka-dot gorge from Haavardsholm and Dahlberg, Anders Ekh means we are performing to expectations so far this season.
Not our expectations, but everyone else's.

The Milano-Torino result has recharged our title hopes but we only have 3 races left after that so they all need to count if The Robots are going to take the title. We have our leaders riding so we should be competitive.

Tour du Faso C2 (Stauff)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Shonak, I will settle for staying up
Tend to agree that Podium Ambition has the chance to score big in October but did the AI get the memo? Ferrero also have scoring chances.
What a great finish to my first season, just thrilled to be part of it.
Thanks for the update Roturn, great stuff.

Exciting times ahead. Confidant we will take the team crown in Zurich (only race left) unless Klemme is great again in C1 in Emilia or Podium Ambition has an incredible Faso (anything can happen there).
The individual crown will be harder. Think Barbin's only chance is winning in Zurich.

Definitely a month ofor two halves... started off fantasticallyour with the 3 wins in the Herald Sun, Acropolis and Britain, but the non events of Oran and Yek mean it ended very badly.
Banking on disbandment for promotion now, as top 5 is out of the question. Consolidation of 8th place will be the bare minimum now for October
